Stomp Disc Savers are the best
by scutfargus ,Jan 17 '06
Pros: Disc Savers are durable, see through plastic. Cons: They are harder to find than those slim line cases and slightly more expensive.
I have used a number of different types of jewel cases; however, Stomp Disc Savers are by far the most durable. However, just because you "build a better moustrap," that does not mean you will outsell your competition. Ask Corel, who makes WordPerfect Office, about that. I have not seen these available in the store for a long time. I can only find them online. You may have to shop around for a good price (other products are cheaper and much more easily broken). Also, these come with a carrying case as well--not a great case, but an okay one. It does the job. There is also a product called trimpak which appears to be an equivalent product. If you are going to mail and protect a CD or DVD, Disc Savers is the only way to go.

The Best Cases Out There
by sksimonds ,Sep 12 '04
Pros: very durable, comes in a variety of colors, thin Cons: hard to find
The Disc Savers cases are very nice because they are slim and made of a rubbery sort of plastic which is very difficult to break. So unlike regular jewel cases, these will not crack if they're in your bookbag etc. I go out of my way to find them (CompUSA used to carry them but don't anymore) and think it's worth the extra effort everytime.
