Pros: Lid doubles as a drying rack, soft and scrubber sides, disposable/sanitary
Cons: Small, can't squeeze out water like a sponge, somehow awkward to use
Sometimes you just have to get out of your rut and try new products. I've been quite pleased with Brillo steel wool pads, used them for years, so when I saw Brillo's new Scrub 'N Toss Reusable Multipurpose Pads, I decided to try them. ~ ...
Pros: cleans well, two-sided, come in a storage container Cons: do not last long on some surfaces
Im always on the lookout for good bargains and cleaning supplies that promise to work well and save me some time around the house. So when I noticed my local drugstore had these new Brill Scrub n Toss Reusable Multipurpose Pads on ...
Pros: You can get more than ten uses out of them. Cons: Hard time rinsing product clean, Expensive.
Ever since my Maytag died, I have been trying to come up with clever ways of cleaning my kitchen. I have not been happy with any of the dishwashers I have seen out there. I suppose I will be handwashing until I find something that suits my needs. I ...
Pros: They provide dual action and can be cut in half for smaller jobs. Cons: Doesn't come with soap; doesn't hold water.
There are too many times in the day when I just dont have enough time in the day to get done all things I set aside to do. HUH? Man! If that doesnt sound like political double-speak I dont know what does. What I mean is ...
Pros: tears easy into smaller pieces, compact box fits on counter Cons: no soap, no suds, brillo scent, lid hard to open
I have been a fan of Dawn Wash & Toss ever since I picked up the first package. For some odd reason the grocery store Vons near me stopped stocking this product. I noticed this but still had another container under the kitchen sink and ...
Pros: Disposable, flexible, no soap Cons: Sometimes flake off blue finish
I have not found the third wonderful use for Brillo Scrub 'n Toss pads so I figured time to write a review. I first bought these disposable pads to clean the cat box, I had a coupon to try out Brillo Scrub n Toss pads so I gave it a try. They ...
Pros: Disposable; Durable; Flexible; No Soap Added; Scratchless; Reusable; Inexpensive; Many uses Cons: Not always available in stores
Last year, I had my kitchen remodeled. One thing went wrong after another and the construction went on for months. This left me to using a microwave, a minifridge, and washing small items in the bathroom sink. Now, I have always been the type to use ...
Pros: Thin, dries quickly, can be cut in half, works great on tough stains Cons: hard to find in stores. Loses its "umph" after a short time
I have been using these pads for about 3 years now and love them. Having a large family what is home much of the day, we use sponges constantly to clean and wipe off surfaces. But I hate traditional sponges, because they don't dry quick enough between ...
Pros: Flexible, scrubber on one side, cloth on the other. Dries quickly. Can be discarded whenever. Cons: Hard to find product in stores. Somewhat pricey.
I loved this product, but can no longer find it in local stores. The holder they come in makes a great "caddy" for the scrubber while it's drying. And the scrubber cloth is thin enough to get into those nooks and crannies of my pots and pans; then it dries quickly because it is thin. There were seven or eight of them in the plastic container they came in.
LOVE THIS PRODUCT--My "Missing Link" for dish washing! by nod772 ,Jun 15 '09
Pros: Versatile, maneuverable Cons: Not so tuff, but this allows the other great qualities of this product
I cannot imagine what I will do if this product is taken off the market. I love the thin, small pad because the flexibility is what I need, not a thick sponge which flakes off and harbors germs as it takes so long to dry. The Scub n Toss doesn't suck up and hold tons of detergent either. I find they last for months; I just soak them in bleach when they look dirty.
Works Great on Cat Can Clean up by jmjcats ,Feb 18 '06
Pros: Reusable yet no guilt when throwing them out. Cons: Sometimes hard to find.
My Husband & I have 3 cats. We go through a lot of Fancy Feast cans in a day. Brillo came up with a great way to clean out the can without cutting my hand. It works great on the cat dishes, which we are constantly washing. And when the pad starts to smell and look worn it's history with no guilt of wasting money. I originally bought them because I thought it was a cleaver idea. We both LOVE them, but agree they are hard to find sometimes. I use them for many different things and hope my kitchen will never be without them.
Brillo Scrub n Toss - CLEAN by usaohol ,Nov 30 '06
Pros: Disposable, reasonable cost, more sanitary than everyday sponges, can use on any surface. Cons: The lack of availability, have not been able to find them in most stores.
I think the Brillo Scrub n Toss is great. I have young kids and am in the medical field , I worry about cleanliness. The bacteria that breeds upon everyday kitchen sponges is tremendous. These are much more sanitary and do just as well as a sponge.
Pros: hard working, disposable (which to me means sanitary) Cons: have trouble finding them in stores
I have used the Brillo Scrub'n Toss instead of a dish cloth for doing dishes for several years. No need for separate sponges and scrubbers and no smelly sponges or cloths. The only thing I don't like, is that I'm having trouble finding them in the stores around town.
Pros: lasted the week for light dish cleaning chores Cons: fall apart too easily now even after cleaning the cereal bowl
I've been using these things for months. always look for them at the grocery store but often not available.
Then the last couple of packages I bought the pads just fell apart with soft simple use. Blue flakes all over the place. Gonna complain to manufacturer.
not worth the money if I can't use more than once.
Pros: They work great, they don't smell, generous amount per package. Cons: Very difficult to find in stores
These work great! They don't get all fermented and smelly like regular sponges do. They aren't just great in the kitchen they work for the bathroom as well. I will never go back to a regular sponge!
