I've picked up so many great items from HSN.com and they have been just outstanding. I believe my first purchase with them was a JVC DV camcorder -- their host do a terrific job of describing the product and answering viewers questions. The host appear knowledgeable and enjoy playing with the products to demonstrate the devices special features. Best of all products generally come with all the accessories one would need to really get value for your money. Their customer care is like speaking with a family member or friend. They listen to your concern or issues and aid you as efficiently as possible. The ordering process is simple and straight forward. Delivery of items is almost immediate.product purchases, they don't continue to push other items will you are placing your order, and they don't distribute your personal information to parties outside of their company.
To date I have never had to return any item purchased for any reason whatsoever. Everything has been as expected and lived up to the statements made by the show host at HSN.com.

HSN is great to buy from because of their "FlexPay" plan where you make monthly payments over 3-4 months. They also tend to throw in additional accessories that do not typically come with the retail package.
However, I was very disappointed in my most recent purchase through them -- beware items that they do not actually have in stock or that are shipped directly from the manufacturer! It can take up to 20 business days to process your order and get it in your hands!
Their current online system provides no method of informing you of these delays until after you have made the purchase, and only then if you go to the order tracking screen. HSN Customer Service did not really seem to care about my complaints, and even though I was receiving email responses from a real person, they were very canned and would frequently be the identical message sent twice in a row as if they were just too busy to address the specific (and constructive) complaints I raised.

I have ordered multiple products from HSN and have always been satisfied with customer service, order accuracy, delivery speed, and quality. One of the best features of ordering from HSN is the flex pay. Flex pay allows you to order a product but instead of making one huge payment you get to make multiple payments. This is a wonderful feature when you can't afford the price of the product all at once.

I am not a typical HSN shopper but had a really good recent experience with them. I ordered the Wolfgang Puck Today's Special from Sunday, and just received it this morning. Everything is just as it was presented on the tv, and delivery was even quicker than I thought. They sent me an email where they told me the order had been processed right after purchase. So, sometimes channel surfing on a Sunday night can be productive!
I LOVE HSN! I have bought many things from them and never been disappointed! They have a wonderful return policy refunding your purchase price and original shipping charges. I have sent items back after the 30 day return time and they have still accepted the items. I totally trust this shopping site.
I purchased a Room Solutions product a down top Feather Bed and pillow set on august 1,2007 I would NOT recommend this as the feathers are all over the mattress and the floor,and they are picky also.I do not consider this Feather Bed a good deal at all,very disappointed with it,would not purchase any other product from them after this experience

I shop HSN a great deal and have had pretty good success. However, be forewarned - I sent back several items from 2 orders in one box to save on shipping. I included the return shipment documents as required. I did not get credit for 3 pair of pants that were in the return box, but got credit for all other items. I was told that I should have returned the items in the original packaging. But, if I could provide the mailing receipt from the Post Office maybe HSN could determine that the pants really were in the box by checking the weight of the package. Give me a break!
I never got the refund for the pants.

HSN has gotten better...Prices are decent and they employ a lot of Floridians in the Tampa area of Florida where they are based....You have a 30 day guarantee but the networks will drop you if you have a high return ratio...Never happened to me thank god...QVC has better hosts In my opinion only.

Received 14K ruby/onyx bangle bracelet less than a year ago as a gift from my daughter. Wore it several times, dropped it on soft surface and it broke in two pieces! HSN would not stand behind the product so took it to a jeweler who said he could not fix it, suggested contacting manufacturer but when he looked at inscription on bracelet it was in chinese! I wrote HSN explaining situation to no avail. Cheaply made products and no customer support. Are all jewelry items from China? Better think twice about ordering jewelry from them, I never will and told my daughter never again. Stuck with $300 bangle I can't wear, HSN is only interested in money, nothing else.

This is a mixed review. Recent cubetto 7.25" gold cubetto bracelet. Customer service was wonderful. The retail value was listed at $705 and sold at $199. However, in checking various online stores, the prices generally run from $405 retail value. The bracelet looks very nice, but I would hope there would presume that there is a mark-up in retail on jewelry items to assure one feels they are getting a great deal. I would prefer plain old honesty. Half-price is still great! and flex-pay makes it that much better. On an item of this value, a 2 to 3 year warranty should be included.

Terrible customer service, I ordered a Lexmark Printer on December 5, didnt ship til December 17, when asked HSN had no response. Then the best was, HSN didnt say that the printer was actually shipped from the vendor not them, then FEDEX screwed up here it is January 6 and no printer just called and cancelled, FEDEX and HSN are not customer friendly. Fedex oops since the 17th and never has tried to deliver, and what does HSN say? Nothing just wait and see, I wont be buying any thing from these people again. I recently, March 2007, ordered a 'steam vacuum' from HSN, but the Hoover SteamVac LS does not have a water heating element and thus can not make steam !! This is a HUGE deception, and certainly critical information that the seller, HSN, should have provided the buyer, me. Yes, they say i can return it at no charge. If you have this unit, the power cord comes out at the bottom,so not the best design. Recommend you run the short black power cord twice through the circle handle so you wont be running over it all the time. Also get a 50-100 foot 3 prong power cord so you don't have to keep changing outlets.
The soap is pleasant smelling , but requires more than 1/2 a cup for a gallon, or each filling. Recommend you find a cheap substitute or you will be paying 'thru the nose' for soap, like people do for copier inkjet ink !! (hint: in sillycon valley ,ca. there is an ink supply store on the n.w. corner of stevens creek and saratoga that sells inkjet cartridges for about $4 each ,,,beat that Costco !!)
Purchased a Multi-tool Rotary Cutter Item: 436-445. DID NOT WORK AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not just my opinion, 99% of the reviews on their site said so as well. Should have checked the reviews first; was bamboozled by the demo. Showed the tool cutting glass and tile with ease. Made me so angry that it did not work and they refused to give me my money back since it was over 5 months since I purchased this tool. NEVER will I order from them again! No company with a shred of integrity would sell such a worthless product.

I purchased a faux leather jacket as a gift for my young adult son. He has been wearing it off & on for the past 3 months. Since it is a winter jacket one would not expect it crack in the cold. Yet that is what happened. I contacted HSN and was told it's beyond 30 days - sorry. I did notice that the jacket is still available and is now clearance priced (1/2 of what I paid). I felt that since they still had the product they could possibly exchange it. Their only reply was a standard form letter - sorry beyond 30 days. I will not order from them again on principle.
I have purchased from both HSN & QVC in the past without incident. Actually QVC once sent me a refund for something I had owned for several months - I simply expressed my disappointment in a product as a FYI - They sent the refund without my expecting or asking for it.

I purchased a Lexmark6150 All In One Printer/Copier/Scanner and Fax Machine last year and never received the correct instruction manual nor the correct CD to install in my computer. After contacting HSN several times, I was promised they would send the items out to me immediately. It never happened. I was able to use the Lexmark X6150, with an older instruction manual, but have had problems with the machine and HSN never offered to remedy the problem I would never purchase another item from HSN because of the poor customer service along with older inferior products.

I bought a gold and ruby ring from HSN for 150.00, it was supposed to be a steal, since original appraised price was $450-500. Total lie. 14K a lie, only 10K.
Well had it appraised by a local jewelry store and was told ring was not worth more than $50.00.
Do your comparison shopping first, its better to shop on Ebay, prices are much less than HSN. Many of HSN products are on eBay sold as closeouts, returns or refurbished. Some are new but still at much less.

I did not have an account with them, so i am unsure why i was recieving their e-mails anyway. In order to unsubscribe, i had to give alot of personal information (on website, in order to ask them to remove me: name, phone number, etc) Had to call up to unsubscribe, which is a waste of time and very inconvenient. Automatic voice prompt kept asking for account information, but i did not have an account. Took awhile to get past the auto-prompt and actually speak to a representative. Once i did, issue was resolved.

I ordered 8 items in 1 order but was charged as if I had made 8 seperate orders. I paid $7 on shipping PER item and ended up with 8 boxes sitting on my friends doorstep. One item was cancelled due to my HSN card being declined yet the credit department shows it as being approved. Had to wait 4 days before the credit was applied to my card in order to reorder the item again. Had to place order 5 times before it was even registered in the system. The company would not send it to me because they could not verify my address. I lease this house and have been here since December I offered to send the loss prevention rep a copy of my lease but she said "sorry that's not our policy". This was supposed to be my engagement ring. I am completely devastated. I called customer service on 2/20/2008 at 6:00pm and the rep never mentioned this. I have stopped shopping at HSN. It takes WAY too long to receive the product (unlike QVC, who delivers within a couple of days). I am not happy with HSN customer service. I had a problem with a W. Puck grill/griddle which I purchased (still under warranty) and was given an 800# to call. Of course, I reached an answering machine. They have yet to return my call.
I closed my HSN account a year ago and will continue to be faithful to QVC, where I feel I get the best products, best buys and by far, the best customer service!!

Delivery speed: I received three (3) keyboards immediately and waited almost three (3) months to get authorization to return said keyboards. It also took several tries to get my computer. It was delivered one piece at a time. Also waited another 1&1/2 months to have my credit card credited for the return of the extra keyboards.
Order accuracy: Didn't exist. Made several calls to get the most simple things straight.
Customer service: SUCKS!No one seemed to care about getting my problem fixed. The support that I was supposed to get with my Gateway model 552GE has never been available. Regardless how I try, I just get the shuffle from one person to another, and never have been able to get support. I don't know any other place to try to get the service that Home Shopping Network had promised. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be glad to hear from you. I even sent a message to the head of Home Shopping Network and never got the courtesy of a reply.

I will NEVER shop at HSN again--I purchased a ProForm Treadmill in late February which was delivered to my home broken. Even though my account was charged immediately and they delivered the product within 10 days, when I tried to return the treadmill it took over a dozen phone calls and threats to get HSN to refund my money--which, seven weeks later, still hasn't occurred! Service is absolutely terrible, I have learned my lesson. NO MORE HSN! I am so disgusted I am going to write the Better Business Bureau and my State Attorney; they are holding my money far longer than should be legal.
By the way, I am a long-time QVC shopper and have always had excellent service from them; if you're looking for a shopping network, stick with QVC.
ordered Perlier Olive Oil Autoship program on Nov 15, 2004. This program guaranteed that I would be shipped the product for a guaranteed price of $29.85 at a customer selected interval as long as I was in the program. Today (2/12/05), I received an email from HSN that they had canceled my autoship without my permission. I called customer service and talked to a manager, Jennifer. I was told that they had canceled my order and could not tell me if they had canceled any one else. I was just want my product at $29.85. They said in January that the Olive Oil line was the second highest selling product line for Perlier on HSN. The product is available. I guess they just don't want to honor that good of a price. Overall, I was quite unhappy with my experience using the Home Shopping Network. I ordered a garage fan for my father's birthday, and confirmed with Customer Service that the fan would be delivered in 3 days if I paid an additional $40 for shipping. The Customer Service representative indicated that shipping would not be a problem as this was a stock item and would leave the warehouse the same day as the order. On day 3 (the scheduled delivery date), I was informed via e-mail that the fan had just been drop-shipped by the manufacturer and would arrive in an additional 7 to 10 days. 7 days later the fan did finally arrive. Of course I called Customer Service, and was told that they could not give me a reason for the misrepresentation or delay, and said that all I could expect was a refund for the additional shipping amount. I will most certainly not shop with the Home Shopping Network in the future.
I have purchased many, many, many items from HSN. I have never ever had any problems with receiving or returning items(which has only been maybe once or twice out of 5 or 6 years). They deliver quickly, customer service has always been great and am very, very satisfied with HSN.
However, I recently purchased the "Today's Special", a computer by Gateway. Although it is still new and I have not had any trouble. I noticed that there was no return label in the box as with other products. Upon reading some the feedback where some people have tried to return theirs and the difficult time they seem to be having, I am getting a "little" nervous. Someone told me that Gateway was purchased by "ACER". Could this be the reason for all of the "great" buys on HSN for Gateway products and the non-caring attitude from Gateway's customer service when asked how to return items?
I had ordered $700 worth of merchandise (& $100 S&H -OUTRAGEOUS) and found out right after that there was a new HSN / AAA discount available. After several e-mails and a phone call, HSN would not honor that discount. They said they could not verify membership, when in fact they could very easily have verified it via contact with AAA or a fax of my card. Obviously dollars are worth more than customer satisfaction!

My debit account information has been stolen twice when using the online service. Not sure if I am the only one, but be sure to check your bank account for suspicious purchases when ordering through the website. I have had fraud issues only twice and it has always been after using my debit card on the HSN website. I did contact the company and let them know. Otherwise, HSN is great, but I think I will use personal checks from now on when using their system.

I started shopping with HSN many years ago and thought they were customer friendly, until I returned some shoddy merchandise and did not receive an order. HSN plays the blame game...blaming the customer and being unavailable or unreachable whenever there is a problem. My last experience with them involved a 14K jade ring which I never received, despite calls and pleas for copies of signatures for the package..nothing! They insisted I received the ring and that I had returned other items and could not order from them for a specified period of time.
HSN is not the place to shop!!! Unless of course you want to experience "Shopper's Hell"!

BUYER BEWARE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS an Expensive JOKE on you if you purchase from Home Shopping Network. I purchased a Gateway Notebook Computer from HSN in November, A NIGHTMARE ENSUED. I called Gateway for Tech Support, I was told my computer didn't exist and to call HSN,,,I spent three days on the phone being passed back and forth from HSN to GATEWAY. Finally, I requested a RETURN LABEL to return the computer. I made two phone calls a week waiting for the return labels. I didn't receive the return labels for 3+ months. TO LATE TO GET MY REFUND FROM HSN. Customer Service SUPERVISORS advised me to NOT PURCHASE A GATEWAY COMPUTER FROM HOME SHOPPING NETWORK as they were having HORRIBLE PROBLEMS IN THEIR OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA. $1700 GONE...DEAD COMPUTER....It took me a year to save up for that computer.
I ordered a set of luggage on Nov.16th for my trip to Hawaii. Yesterday, I called them about my item and I was told it was confirmed delivered via UPS to an MC BOY (who the HECK is that?) a week ago. So I don't have my item and they told me too bad, too sad, sorry about that, want a refund? I DON'T want a FREAKING REFUND. I want the luggage because I NEED IT! So I guess I'll have to go to a 24 hour department store to get one! ARRRGGGHH!!! I won't shop there again!!! I'll just shop to QVC, they use FedEx with signature required to make sure you get your item.

I have ordered from hsn.com for 3 or 4 years now and have always received what I ordered and it's been in working condition. I returned one item for full credit because I decided I wanted the newer, fancier version and received my money back within 7 days. Customer service has always been helpful and given me phone numbers and web sites to check for replacement parts or add-ons to my purchases. I find it hard to believe people claim to have so many issues with them. I am usually considered very difficult to please and I love shopping with them.

Shop anywhere but with HSN. This company is not accountable for their mistakes. It is now clear to me why QVC reigns supreme over HSN. My first and LAST purchase with this company was for a ProForm GL 35 bike. HSN began this ghastly experience by billing me $200 and sending me a $20 item. When I informed them about their error they told me that they would not send me my actual order until they received their "mistake" at their warehouse. Meaning that it was going to take upwards of 25 days to receive my order. I canceled my order and icing on the cake, they told me that I would be responsible for shipping the "mistake" back to them. They would pay for the shipping but, I would have to take time out of my busy workday to find a UPS store to ship the "mistake" back to them.(wasting precious GAS in the process!) Bottom line, NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Plus, there was terrible and incompetent customer service.

Purchased a driveway alarm from HSN, which worked one time then quit. Sent the item back in its original packaging (followed all instructions to the "t"), insured the package and mailed USPS priority. The package was returned 6 days after receipt. I have emailed them twice and have never received a response. I called customer service, who stated that she can only assume the package was never received because their office is notified when the returns dept. gets it. Since they have no record of a return being processed, she assumes it must be lost. I have to get a letter from that office stating the package was never received. I'm getting the run around, but taking lots of names and numbers. This was my first experience with HSN, and it will be my last. I DO learn from my errors.

I had a very good experience with HSN.com. I was having back problems caused by my old mattress. I couldn't really afford the hundreds of dollars it would cost to buy a new mattress set so HSN's flexpay worked out great. My back is so much better and my husband and I sleep better on our new queen mattress...our old one was a full. We also got exactly what we paid for and got free delivery. The mattress was delivered when they said it would be...the driver did get lost and call for directions a couple of times, however, he was so friendly that it didn't matter. The only slight complaint I have is that they did not offer to remove my old mattress even though I am pretty sure that existing mattress removal was an included service. I don't know about customer service, because I never had reason to call them. I have only had the mattress set for 6 months now but so far, no problems, just better sleep...so I am a happy HSN.com customer and would recommend them based on my experience.

Bought a portable DVD player. Received quickly. Accurate order. Good Condition. Still works fine, when I charge the battery! Considering another purchase of a Digital camera, on flex pay. Might be a little Cheaper else where, but no flex pay available at other stores. No interest, so why not make it easier with monthly payments.

Customer Service at HSN is sorely lacking. Customer Service supervisors are rude and not at all professional. Even when presented with clear evidence of error on their part, HSN will not take responsibility. It takes many, many phone calls to get any errors made by HSN corrected, if they are corrected at all. Promises made by HSN are not kept. They seem to forget that customers ARE their business. I will be contacting HSN corporate, but do not expect to get any further than I did with customer service.

Incredibly poor service. I placed an order on 12/2, kept my eye on the tracking link, no information available. Called customer service, they told me I needed to contact UPS. Contacted UPS, they had not received the shipment yet from HSN. Called customer service AGAIN....found out the manufacturer had not confirmed to HSN that the item was in stock. So, no shipment, no Christmas present for my daughter. I got the complete run-around from HSN. I will NEVER order from them again.

I have NEVER had a problem with HSN!! HSN even refunds the original s/h charges on returns! I don't know of ANY other companies that offer that! I even had an item that I incorrectly ordered, and once again, HSN customer service came through for me!! They sent a replacement in the correct size immediately, without charge, and told me to return the original with a couple of weeks!! WOW! QVC sure does NOT do that for their customers!! I received a defective item from Q and I had to return it BEFORE getting a replacement!! HSN shipped immediately! Keep up the good work Home Shopping Network!! You have a LOYAL customer here!

Bought several Heidi Daus jewelry items from HSN. Stones were either missing or fell out soon after wearing them. HSN Customer Service refused to return my money or tell me where to get them fixed. This DESPITE written agreement enclosed with each Daus item saying stones were guaranteed FOR LIFE! This jewelry is cheap. HSN is a rip off. Either false advertising or poor service, either way questionable practices. And I'm out $500 for jewelry that's bad. DON'T BUY THIS JEWELRY. DONT SHOP ON HSN.

HORRIBLE! I was told shipment was in process and will be delivered around 12/11. On 12/12, I was told it has not been processed and no guarantee for Xmas. In fact, no way for Xmas. The supervisor says I cannot cancel my order unless it is within 24 hours of ordering. So, no ship date, no idea of ship date and no cancellations. Unbelievable...Upon looking at their website, there are no instructions to cancel an order. I will tell everyone I know that they are a scam! You've been warned!
I have been ordering from HSN for awhile now, everything from jewelry, cookware, small appliances, to everyday home items and musical instruments. I have never had a problem receiving an item, it has always arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. I do my ordering online, and I receive an order confirmation, and shipping estimates in a timely manner. Customer service has always been helpful when I have had a question. People complain about customer service, but in any situation if you go in with an attitude and treat people negatively then you are probably going to get that back. I love shopping at HSN and have nothing but good things to say about them

I bought a pair of Bandalino boots from HSN, Two months later the stitching unraveled on one boot. Bandalino is a reputable brand, so I reckoned HSN would sort it out. No such luck. They are refusing to replace the boots or issue a refund because the 30 day return period has expired. This applies whether the product is faulty or not! I will have to contact Bandalino directly. I have never ever before encountered a retailer who would not replace a faulty product.

I have had so many problems here I wouldn't have time to list them all. Orders incomplete, wrong items received, items never delivered, things broken, credit cards held hostage for over a month, phone calls asking about orders placed months ago. A family member who is on my card was denied a purchase because 2 people can't use the same card. It goes on and on... I can't recommend it as a pleasant experience. I have finally learned my lesson. No more.

very poor customer service! Sales people hype everything, often misrepresent then customer service fails to stand behind the on-air description. Many of their products are definitely inferior and barely outlast the 30 days. But, you'd better not want to exchange or return something for poor quality after the 30 days, for they work under the idea that "the customer is always wrong." If you must shop on-air, shop QVC they will exchange, refund, etc. even after 30 days if the product is defective. They are a quality outfit and their sales staff far superior - honest, direct, responsible.

HSN has POOR quality control! They treat their loyal customers OOORLY. No one cares about good service anymore. For a month, I've been trying to get a replacement for a tube of hand cream. The Double Latte moisturizing cream I bought grew black mold! I got no where with CS so I had to write the BBB! Buyer Beware!

They really botched a Mother's Day order! I paid for gift wrapping and bow. My mother got an egg cooker by mistake. QVC gave me a full refund and a $20.00 credit that I was NOT expecting! I did not have to write a second email to get this straight. They care about customer loyality! NOT so HSN. I've deleted my wish list and will pay it off. I do not want to do business with them any longer! HSN no longer has any QUALITY CONTROL and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Quick turnaround, poor quality products, no helpful customer service, phone number given for warranty, absolutely no help at all, professionals at taking advantage of the general public. I would not recommend HSN to anyone.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience with this company. They sent me the wrong product and spent hours on the phone basically telling me that they could do nothing about it. I have never written a review about anything and I seriously want to call the better business bureau about this company. They screwed up on my order and I could prove it. I told a customer service rep about my problem and they literally fixed the mistake on the website and then told me they couldn't help.
Never trust them since they sell Innova products (Ultrex) which is a company that has recalled exploding fry pans and other products that frequently break, malfunction and Innova doesn't honor their warranties. HSN could care less about doing business with such a partner.

Twice I bought something from HSN and sent a check. The first time, I never received the item, and when I called customer service, I found that they had cancelled my order on their own. I requested a refund and did receive it, but I had wanted the merchandise (that's why I ordered it in the first place). The second time, I ordered, sent a check and same thing. I called after four weeks and found that they had cancelled the order because they hadn't received the check. The representative looked a little further on my account and saw that the check DID get there, but had been sent to the wrong department after arrival. They had had the check for weeks and just realized it. I did get the merchandise about a week later. I won't buy from HSN again, I have always shopped at QVC and been more than pleased. HSN needs to get their act together, QVC has it all over them.

TERRIBLE! THEY SOLD ME A LEMON!
I spent $370.00 on a Fuji Camera that lasted one month. When I called, customer service said that I was out of the 30 days and would have to contact Fuji directly (32 exactly) Fuji has had the part on backorder for 2 months. HSN refused to exchange the camera and did not stand by the product after one month. I thought that customers mattered.
I would expect that a MULTI-MILLION dollar company would stand by their products and try to assist the consumer in any way they could. I was not permitted to talk to anyone other than the customer service reps supervisor who advised me that she was the highest level person that I could talk to and to call Fuji again. DO NOT BUY FROM HSN!!!!! MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NEVER AGAIN.
In the weeks following my purchase of a $370.00 camera, I have had to photograph my vacation and 7 year olds birthday with a disposable camera. They don't care. All I wanted was a camera to record my memories and instead I got a lemon and hours of frustration trying to make it right.

Ordered Bravetti Microwave convection oven on 2/12/06. Used it as microwave for a couple of days and then the turntable died. Using it with an inoperable turntable resulted in food burned in one section. According to the carton the oven weighs 25.2 kgs. Believe me, it is heavy and I needed help removing it from the carton. I called customer service(?) on 2/24 and explained that I am unable to lift the oven and asked if they would arrange to have UPS pick it up. I was told that it would take 10-12 days. On 3/2, having heard nothing, I called again, this time to a Judy and was told that it would be picked up by the next week. I assumed that this would be true since in the reviews on the HSN site, I saw many reviews detailing the same complaint I had; also 2 reviews in which the customer thanked HSN for agreeing to have UPS pick up their packages. Today, 3/7, I received a card from HSN advising me to drop the return in a mailbox or bring it to the postoffice. Is HSN lying to me and to the other customers?
Terrible service! Everything was fine until I tried to get my product fixed on their no questions asked- 100% coverage Protection Plan. Turns out 100% parts and labor doesn't include the rechargeable battery that came with my product (Roomba). The battery died, so the product is dead, and they could care less...

I have shopped HSN for about 10 years now. My experiences with them have been fine. Once, about 5 years ago, I ordered a pair of earrings which I never received. When I called customer service they said they had been sent out sometime ago. Bottom line, they gladly offered to send me another pair or credit my account. Now that is customer service.

My mother had been a loyal customer of both HSN and QVC. Unfortunately my mother recently passed away so we had to cancel her accounts at both of these stores as well as other store accounts. Every store account, including QVC, handled the cancellation quickly over the phone making things as easy as possible for us. However, HSN did NOT make this process easy for us. We had to either send a notarized death certificate (which costs us money to order) or write a letter and have that notarized (we opted for the latter, which was still a pain). I would like to have been able to concentrate on the death of my mother and grieving instead of running around writing letters and trying to find someone to notarize them. If I ever need to shop at a store again, I will first look to QVC and never to HSN.

I am very unhappy with HSN.com. They canceled my order without letting me know about it, plus when I sent out an email with a question to customer service instead of answering my question I have got a response - "call to customer service"!!! Why would you have an email service in the first place if you have to call anyway??! Plus they have a strange problem with their public information database, which they receive from God knows where and it gets updated only ones a month. So if you have recently moved and want to make an order at this website it does not matter what information you enter when you make an order because HSN.com has already an old public record on you, even if you have never made an order before! So your order might get screwed up because of their old records on you and those records get updated only ones a month. Isn't it strange and stupid?

HSN don't really stand behind their products. I bought Ultrex II pans, and the lids fell apart in the first year. When I called HSN, I was told they had nothing to do with it...call the manufacturer. I eventually got through to the manufacturer, after weeks of trying and was told the lids aren't warrantied, only the finish on the pans. This made the pan tough to use, since I now didn't have a lid to fit it. I would use it for soups and stews after that, mainly just to warm things up. About a year after that, the finish started sloughing off. I contacted the manufacturer again, and was told where to mail the pan for replacement. After about 3 mos. I received the lid back, unrepaired, and about a month after that I received a new pan which was nothing like the one I sent back. HSN has poor products, and then blames the manufacturer if you have a problem. They should stand behind what they sell.

I bought an expensive leather Sharif bag on sale at HSN and 2 months later the handle fell off! Unfortunately, I hadn't used the bag very much after I bought it and the return has expired. I contacted their customer service department and they said that basically I'm stuck with it and out $100+ dollars! These people are rip offs! The leather is fake or way too thin, or it wouldn't have broken so easily. DO NOT buy their Sharif bags! They are expensive and cheaply made!

From the first Item I ordered it was a nightmare... The Customer Service is Horrible, they don't listen to the customer. Was ordering a gift 14k gold ring for a mothers day gift they shipped it through the regular mail and to the wrong address, needless to say I never got it. So I called customer service and was told the item would be reshipped meanwhile the Item she was "reshipping" was sold out...Gloutton for punishment and needing a mothers day gift I ordered another 14k gold ring this time specified to the customer service rep to send it express mail so that it would get here on time and I could track the package...This was not done on top of numerous billing errors,this ring was also sent via regular mail and once again I have not received my order..All Customer service says is I am sorry.

!!!!TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! I purchased a ProForm 565 Cardio Coach Treadmill from HSN. This was a direct ship item from the vendor. What was delivered was not a new unopened treadmill, but was an item that was delivered broken, and appeared to have been repacked several times. The delivery company, Old Dominion, was a hack delivery company. They did not provide the proper handling as indicated on the packaging.
When I contacted HSN customer service I was told I would be given credit within 3-5 business days, that didn't happen. I'm still waiting to have the credit made to my account. Meanwhile, I'm left accumulating finance charges. I was left dealing with the same company to get the item returned, Old Dominion. ICON Health and Fitness is the company that decided to deliver to me the opened, broken, item, HSN is not responsive in customer service in issuing the credit, and the delivery company most likely caused part of the damage. There's enough to complain about for everyone involved.
Bottom line, I wouldnt buy anything from them again.

Products are mediocre and customer service is very poor. I bought a techinbond watch that turned black after 6 wearings. Because it took me over a month to wear it the 6 times, HSN would not let me return it and then gave me the wrong address for the manufacturer. I have canceled my account with HSN because of the extremely poor customer service.
I purchased the Toni Brattin hair comb,but returned it because I found the combs to be attached, I believe, the wrong way. When applied to the head,the combs should contour with the scalp, not away from it. Also, mine was purchased in the platinum shade, but it arrived with brown combs, which shows in the hair. I think the blonde hair combs should be made with clear combs so that they are not so obvious on the head, allowing people to know that it is not your own hair.
Hope you can rectify these problems.

I bought a Gateway computer from HSN on Dec. 23, 2005 and called the order from my cell phone. I called the next day to verify when the item would be shipped, and they could not find my name, nor a record that an order had been taken. In the next three subsequent days I called and I didn't exist; okay, so I decided to order the item again. Oh, surprise! Since I was a first-time buyer, I created an account with the same info I had given them on 12/23/05 and a message came back stating "you already have an account with us..verify your info." Well, okay, but the address was incorrect, the phone number was incorrect; they were going to ship the item who knows where! I cancelled, called back, "evil temp workers"(they said)so I cancelled the order. They took $500 from my bank account. What a horrible experience! I closed my bank account because I don't want them to take the rest of the money.

Sometimes HSN doesn't stand behind their customers. They continue to sell products that customers have repeatedly complained about. Sometimes you can make an order on a today special early in the day, they continue to sell the product for the rest of the day and yet your told your product is on back order, sometimes the order comes in and sometimes they cancel the order. I don't want to reorder the right size and end up paying shipping 3 times, (original order, return, and again for new size), and I don't know if I would get the same TS price or the regular price so I gave up and just returned them. For the most part I've had good experience shopping at HSN,but at times I've experienced long delays on hold waiting to speak to a representative,the one comment I will make is that I think the shipping and handling charges are a bit high on certain items, I suspect HSN is trying to make up for the free shipping they do on other products when and item cost btw 9.95 and 14.95 and the shipping is 5-6 dollars that's a bit steep and a turn off for me. I know that it cost to ship out items but with the volume of sales HSN does I find it hard to beleive that they cant get a better rate and pass the savings on to the consumer. HSN is good in backing up their 30 day guantee but I must say that if an item goes down within that time frame they should credit your account automatic instead of you having to call in. Read more

IMO HSN has gone downhill. The new HSN.com site is horrible. All over the place and you eliminated the BB community boards. Mainly all of my purchases were made via talking with others on the community boards. Don't want to be involved in any kind of blogs. They boards were a marketing tool which no longer exists for me as a consumer. My future shopping with HSN is questionable. The boards were also shut down without any regard for consumers. HSN also now has a vendor threatening consumers and reaking havoc. Not necessarily comfortable with you having my personal information on file for this vendor to use for his purposes. Telephone orders have also changed. Having to make vocal announcements doesn't work for me as a consumer. Wish you all the best. Read more

The strongest thing HSN has done is to combine like items purchased in one day in one box (i.e.,jewelry, fashion) thus saving the customer on shipping and handling. (They still make out like a bandit on S&H, though.) Also, I like that they put the majority of their merchandise on Flex Pay. That certainly makes it easier to make a decision to purchase. On the negative side, I have had many items shipped to me that were damaged...clothing that arrived ripped, a beauty kit item (pressed powder) that arrived crumbled and a jewlery set that was supposed to be in a cute pottery box which instead arrived in shards. To return these items would have cost me more $$$ to ship, so other than the ripped sweater, I kept the damaged items. It's disappointing. I order mostly on-line and I really like the way the site is laid out. When dealing one-on-one with the HSN staff, I've always been treated kindly and in an efficient manner. Read more

I've shopped both shopping channels for years. Both offer money back guarantee w/i 30 days of purchase if you aren't happy and both give you back the shipping charged for sending you the item. Every so often something gets lost in the mail or is received in poor condition, e.g. the green amber bracelet had a stone fall out as soon as I put it on. I've never had any problem returning anything or getting credit. However, it does take forever to get here. All of my ordering merchandise and interactions with HSN have been positive. Only problems that I have experienced have been with UPS. Several things I have not received, and they have been delivered to wrong addresses; I also have received damaged packages-one even had a hole in the merchandise. They will not deliver to my house unless I am home in the afternoon, but I work in the afternoon. I don't like to have packages left at my neighbors. I called HSN to see if my small orders could just be sent through the mail; they said no. I usually spend about $1,000 a month. However, due to my experience with UPS, I will not be ordering as much. To be honest I hve been with HSN for over 13 years and I perfered your old internet set-up. I am unable to pull up the Italian Bath and Body products easily as your new format requires to much memory. (funny this is the only line on the new set-up I have a problem with) I perfer to shop on-line for the products instead of trying to catch the program on the HSN TV channel. HSN was OK. But the camera wouldn't take pictures. I e-mailed the problem to HSN C/S. Reply was that they couldn't help me but gave me GE's phone no. I called GE. He said camera sounded like it was defective. Cost me $14 to send it back to GE. Probably won't get replacement until late next week. In comparison to most other websites, I love Home Shopping Network. Their prices are fair, their website product information is OUTSTANDING and, on the whole, when there is a problem and you contact them via the web, they are very responsive. Getting a hold of them by phone is another story -- not so great. However, I will continue to do business with them as much as I can. I only wish they had a wider selection of products and kept the products that they offer; i.e., if you purchase a particular item and really like it, oftentimes they discontinue carrying it -- very disappointing. One more thing, they have announcements that can be e-mailed to their customers (like their daily specials). Well, within the last year, they no longer arrive in my e-mail box. I think it has something to do with being incompatible with AOL, which I have. I don't have a problem like that with any other website, and I wish they'd fix their compatibility issues. I've contacted them regarding this problem repeatedly, but have had no success in receiving their e-mails announcing sales, etc. Read more

The products are generaly good, the only complaint I have is with Customer Service, they are not top notch. When a product is returened because it was damaged or defective, I don't think I should have to pay the postage. Also if they don't have a product to send you for the damaged one, they don't contact you, they just give you credit, but you don't know this untless you call and ask 'where is my replacement?' Customer Service is their big drawback. The reps have improved over the years, but they don't even come close to the Excellent Customer Service at QVC! Read more

Sometimes it fits.. sometimes it doesn't in the same size. Often times I have had to return (at my cost!!) an item that should have fit as it was the same size I had ordered prior and it had fit. jewelry and other items do not always look or work the same when received, as how they were described or appeared on air either. I have been ordering products from HSN for a few years now and this is the first time that I did not get the order that I wanted. I was dissappointed that I could not reorder the right item immediately when I called the customer service department. I was told the product was not in stock and could not be re-ordered. A few days later I went on line and the product was available so I ordered it again. I received the correct item that I ordered in the mail a few days later. It was a little inconvenient sending the original wrong item back to HSN but other than that, I have no complaints. I just hope that I am not charged to re-ship the orginal order back to HSN since the wrong item was shipped to me in error. Read more
I BOUGHT THE MOON STONE RING FROM THE ENGLISH FELLOW AND IT WAS VERY NICE AND I WORE IT ALL THE TIME. A MONTH LATER I LOOKED AND THE STONE WAS GONE. I HAD MISPLACED THE ORDER SO HAD NO INFORMATION ON IT SO I COULD GET A REPLACEMENT. I JUST GOT RID OF THE RING,MUCH TO MY DISMAY.IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT HANGING ON TO THE ORDER BUT THE STONE SHOULD NOT HAVE FALLEN OUT IF IT HAD BEEN SECURELY PUT IN.
