I've stayed at Kingsway Hall three times. It is close to the Holburn tube station and The Covent Garden Tube station. Covent Garden is near many theaters and tons of great places to eat. If you are from the US and afraid to drive in London, (like me), the location is great. It is within a 20 minute walk to Big Ben. The open top double decker tour busses also have stops within a 5 minute walk.
This hotel is very expensive, perhaps more than actual worth. Room service was good and fast. The rooms are extremely clean and include a safe. Ask for a room with a view of the street, otherwise you'll get no view. Room 709 has no view, but is a large room. The hotel has ice on request and has 110volt outlets. The bar has nice, ice cold beer and a smoking lounge. The concierge staff are experienced and courteous. My dates there July 7,8 and 19, 2004
