It's difficult to come up with any good reason why someone would NOT want the little bundle of joy that is the Samsung ML-4500. I suppose color-philic kids (and adults, for that matter) would be appalled by the fact that there is no color. But let's...
Pros: Very cheap, good quality, long-lasting cartridge Cons: none yet
I bought my Samsung ML-4500 three months ago when my Canon ink-jet suddenly died on me. I wasn't looking forward to spending money I didn't have on a printer, but I am very happy I bought this printer.
Pros: Very cheap cost, excellent print quality, toner carts are inexpensive Cons: A little slow, but for $119 who cares?
Getting tired of constantly replacing inkjet cartridges, I went shopping several months ago looking for a very cheap laser printer. The cheapest printer I could find in most computer stores was a small Hewlett Packard laser printer for $359. While no...
Pros: A high quality laser printer for under $200 including parallel cable. Cons: Low capacity toner cartridge with unit.
The Samsung ML-4500 provides the SOHO and home user with laser print quality at a very low price. This is a fast and quiet machine. It does not hog work surface, its footprint is 13 by 14 inches. It can print 8 pages per minute at 600 dpi. Print quality...
Pros: A heckuva deal for a reliable, unbulky laser printer. Cons: No bells or whistles.
I'm not very computer savvy. I don't keep up with the latest trends or work in I.T. I have no idea what a "checksum" is and the words "PC Load Letter" strike fear into my heart.
When I needed a new printer, I needed it to print out clean,...
Replaced my old ink printer. I paid $99 for this at Sam's club. Toner cartridge is $59.99 from local compusa.
Very cost-effective printer model. Only problem is it lacks USB connection. It prints well from my home network. Compact design, You will...
Pros: Compact, 600dpi, parallel cable included, great value. Cons: No USB connection, no output paper tray.
I recently upgraded from a Canon bubble-jet after tiring from the continuous trip to the local printer consumable store for more ink cartridges (my pockets were emptying rather quickly too!!).
I couldn't believe that a laser printer could be...
I bought this laser printer brand new & had a horrible experience. First of all its very slow, and takes forever to start a print job. It would hang alot and get jammed, it would never print straight, the text always got closer and closer to the margin. It ended up printing everyhting on a slant. Somtimes it would grab more than 1 page, up to 3 pages at a time, and leave them blank. The print quality was ok for text, it had troulbe with font 5 and lower. The pictures came out okay too in black and white. 6 Months later the fuser broke making the printer unusable. After printing 500 pages the printer already broke. Very poor quality, unreliable. Every samsung produt I have owned or owe is either broken or braking :(
