A Very Good Purchase When I first came across this phone, I was reluctant to buy it. It's silly, and a personal thing, but I have always preferred the aesthetics of a flip phone. Don't get me wrong - this is a good looking phone. It may not be ...

Nice Sound, Slow Software by alextheman ,Jun 04 '07
Pros: Sound quality is excellent, user interface is friendly, graphics are top notch, great camera! Cons: Software is slow and unresponsive at times, startup takes minutes
I love the Walkman aspect of this phone, instead of lugging around a boombox I press play on my phone and get down! Sound quality is excellent with nice controls. But my one gripe is that the software is really shaky, slow, unresponsive. I guess I might need a firmware upgrade but just wish the phone worked as well as it sounded...
Poor battery cover design and bad warranty support by theweebs ,Apr 18 '07
Pros: Well it does work as advertised except for the lockups. Cons: Lockups, poor plastic, terrible warranty service
Functionally I like the phone for all the reasons you see on other reviews. I've had it 6 months.
Occasionally the phone will lock up and you have to remove the battery to reset. The battery cover is very tight and it takes a snap to remove. About the 10th time I had to do this a rail or lip that engages the battery cover broke off of the phone. Now of course the cover does not engage correctly. I call up Sony warranty services and they tell me it is not covered by their warranty and it will cost $100. The phone looks brand new and has never been dropped. Let's put this in perspective- I am only removing the cover because their poor software locks the phone up and while doing so their cheap phone housing breaks = not in warranty. Nice service. This is my last Sony phone.
