Pros: Versatile, eye-catching beauty Cons: Of course, gas mileage
I was lucky enough to get one of these used last year and I've never been sorry. This is a truck you can dress up or dress down. The floor mats can be removed to reveal a cool plastic like floor that could be easily wiped down or hosed out (if you're...

Pros: versatility Cons: gas mileage
I found that the Sport Trac is great because you get only what you need. For example, I carry three highly energetic, and after long walks at the park very dirty dogs twice a week. I don't want them inside the car with me because, living in Seattle,...

Pros: cool looking Cons: crew cab, no room
Although the sport trac boasts new age teenager styling, and it is a brand new addition to the ford line of motor vehicles. I am not really a big fan of crew cabs with the small bed in the rear. The seating is comfortable yet cramped, I think it is about...

Pros: Affordable, Unique, Functional, Comfortable Ride Cons: Rear Seat Belt shoulder strap mounting too high. Poor gas mileage.
It all started back in June 2000. My wife was looking at SUV’s and had settled on the BMW X5. We thought that the new 3.0 liter X5 would be reasonably priced and felt comfortable driving it. We priced it out and it came to over $50,000.00 with the...

Pros: Room for 5... a bed Cons: SLOW
Admittedly, I don't own one of these... nor would I dare to. A very good friend of mine test drove one. If he talked anymore about how horrible that vehicle was, I would have screamed.
Let me start with the looks. It looks like one of those VERY...

Pros: Well built very versitial Cons: none
I purchased my sport trac 5 months ago and have driven over 10000 miles already. It is the vehical of choice in my family(we have 3). It has hauled us in to the woods and towing a boat with no trouble at all. The shift on the fly four wheel drive comes...

Pros: everything Cons: lacks power(in my opinion)
mmmm! The Explorer Sport Trac. When I was cruising past my local car dealership, the Explorer Sport Trac popped out at me. It was so uniquely designed its unbelieveable. I have never seen anything like it in my life. Since I am a major car fanatic, I...

Pros: Great replacement for a car!!!! Cons: Bad replacement for a useable pickup!!
Let me begin by saying that I love my 2001 SportTrac. It's comfortable, rides well, stylish, powerful, new, basicially it's everything that my 96 Ranger wasn't. In fact the only real negative I can find is that it's not much of a pickup. Now that...

Pros: Handles good, drives smooth, good quality, very comfortable, good gas mileage Cons: like suv's it can turn over when turning at a certain speed
I bought my Ford Explorer Sport Trac back in late November. I had been used to driving sports cars and trucks. And since having kids I went from a mustang to a dodge intrepid. My husband started driving the intrepid. So I went to a dealership and spotted ...

Pros: Mid sized with plenty of power and good seating and towing capacity. Cons: None
I am very pleased with the looks and performance. This vehicle handles and rides as good as any high quality auto that I've ever driven. The 4.0L V-6 motor has lots of power and still gets acceptable fuel mileage. The interior design is very comfortable...

Pros: Unique body style, versatility, seating capacity, spaciousness. Cons: Low gas mileage, small manufacturing flaws.
Luckily there's not too many of these on the road yet because it may cause many to develop a stiff neck after starring at every one that passes by! It's one of those vehicles you just have to look closely at in awe whenever you see one on the road....

Pros: EVERYTHING about this SUV is da BOMB!! Cons: The bed!
Hahaha.. I remember going to trade my Ford F-150 in.. I so did not want to loose it. However, once I got there i fell in LOVE. The Ford Explorer Sport Trac was totally awesome. Finally aside the Mustang, Ford had gotten enough brains to make something...

Not a Bad Lil Puller
by cowboydoc ,Feb 01 '06
Pros: Great handling, comfortable, being able to run all the interior controls from the pilots seat. Cons: Wound like a bench seat in the front and standard tranny (6 speed w/OD).
I origanally was just looking for a bigger vehicle to haul the family in. When the salesman showed me this little truck I fell in love. Lots of tots and whistles, a covered bed, and towing ablity. We pull our (3500 lb.)pop-up camper with it and never have a problem. We did add an aftermarket tow unit, air shocks and tow mirrors. I've done a couple of long distance trips in her and was always comfortable.
