My family just recently sold our boat. We had it for 12 years, and enjoyed every minute of it. It was a 17 foot Wahoo. This is a boat that is very similar to a Boston Whaler, however is a little more sturdy and has some better features. For one, the Railing is a solid piece, instead of separate banisters & railing on the Boston Whaler. Plus, the gas tank is built in, which allows more room on board.
This boat was great for fishing, and an excellent boat for water skiing, and our favorite, knee boarding. We had a Mercury 75 hp outboard motor, which allowed us to tow a skier, or just get from here to there a little quicker. The boat only required a hosing down after a day at the ocean, and never needed a single repair.
We finally got to the point where everyone was too busy to use it, so we sold it this summer to another family, who we hope will have a great time with it as we did.
I would highly recommend this brand of boat, it is safe, easy to tow, and fun.
