I've been a member of a couple of different book clubs. They were great at first and offered really great deals to get you to join. But then... I would forget to mail that monthly selection card in . I'd either end up paying for books I didn't really want or the hassle of returning books. I always ended up canceling my subscription. They are great if you never get around to getting into a book store and for keeping up with what's new. By the time you pay club price and shipping and handling,you haven't really gotten a good deal. There are plenty of discount bookstores out there. And you don't get stuck with something you may never read or the hassle.
