| hdeans6380's Full Review: Philips PC Camera |
About 2 months ago, I decided I wanted to do something for ME, so I went out and got a PC camera. I didn't want to spend too much, but I definitely wanted a USB, so it limited my options a bit. I decided on the Philips PC camera for a few reasons.
First of all, the price. I certainly couldn't beat $50. Most of the other USB's I looked at were $150 and up.
Secondly, I wanted a camera that was user friendly. I didn't want to spend two hours just getting the thing hooked up to my computer. This camera took me a total of fifteen minutes to install and start using it.
And finally, although I wanted a cheap, user friendly camera, I didn't want to sacrifice quality too much. Now, granted, I am not getting top quality with this camera, but it really is good. The picture is nice, I get 30 FPS, and I can use the focus lens to focus my pictures.
The Philips PC camera gave me all of this, and a bit more!
There are some things I don't like though. I don't like that the camera stand is not connected to the camera. I have had some problems with it falling off of the top of my computer. Also, I don't like the way it looks. I don't know how to describe it really. I guess it kind of looks like an egg. Other than that though, no complaints! Overall, it is a very good camera for the price paid!
