Ahh - yes ..but have you noticed the volume of games sitting on servers of those internet based kids sites like ma-ma-media . My point is that more and more software is either CD-ROM "source driven" or physically residing somewhere else, so I dont feel that you are giving up much in limiting your system to 7 Gigs. But I do agree, that you probably might be well advised to buy the extra GIGS for the nominal cost for insurance purposes.

I posted when this came up but it didn't show..so..Great Review..I love Dell..but I wouldn't challange my kids to fill 7 gigs!
They have 20 g on theirs and have only 24% left! lol...those games they "download" from the net sure take up loads of space!
