I am a fanatic of Flight simulators. I have every single flight simulator I know that is out. I am 13, and I want to obtain a career in the Navy with F-14s. Great Flight Simulators have given me plenty of practice, and this is all thanks to my awesome Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro.
This joystick works with every game I have ever tried it on. The forces are realistic, and it gives the real feeling of G forces on the stick. It provides a realistic force from every control surface of an aircraft.
This joystick is equipped with several safety devices. To prevent damage to the joystick, a laser eye is on the grip so that the joystick senses when you are and aren't touching it. When you aren't touching it, it keeps itself loose, and does not fight you. This insures that if in the middle of a game, you lose your grip, the joystick won't flop around. It only applies forces when it senses you are touching it.
I see this joystick as a luxury since it is not necessary for an enjoyable flight in any Flight simulator. However, if you got some extra bucks and you want an awesome, realistic joystick, I certainly recommend the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro to you.
