I got a copy of the software with my Olympus D450 Zoom and one with the CanoScan 620U. I use this software extensively to edit the pictures I take. It is pretty easy to use, and there are a lot of built in function that make it easy execute complex functions such as color balancing, increasing the brightness or the contrast.
I have found that I use the following features more than others to enhance the pictures: 1) Intelli-Instant fix - some time this actually makes the pictures worse; 2) Brightness and Contrast -use it extensively 3) Remove noise under the Repair menu - extensively.
The red eye reduction feature does not seem to work that well. The other feature I did not like that much is that when you save it you have to save it in adobe's PDD format (big file), where as if you wanted to save it jpeg format( small file size) you have to export it. I wish they gave that option under the save option (like Word or Excel allows you to save in multiple format). One other feature I would like to see is the thumbnails of your album.
You can do a lot creative and artistic thing to your pictures, such as make them look like antique or like newspaper picture or convert from color to Black and white to name a few. You can spend lots of time playing around with pictures and this software. A great product even at its regular price (especially when you get it bundled with other products as freebie).
