My snappy is happy. I am working on a book on how to build ukuleles. Recently I took 250 high resolution digital snapshots of the project with a Sharp ViewCam, in live mode, and captured them on a 166 Pentium w/ 32mb ram using a Snappy 3.0. Deluxe. The results are astounding. Snappy uses a multiple scan algorithm to record great shots, so the camera must be on a tri-pod, but the snappy interface worked like a pro. Capturing images from recorded tape was greatly degraded but still useful. Rest assured if you buy this product that the picture you can capture with a Snappy is as good as the photographer and the hardware at hand. The snappy software is more then adequate and the user interface is friendly and flexible. This is a product that the whole family can have fun with. For a digital to analog converter at a great price this product is the boss. Installation was a snap but you will need a switch box or a spare parallel port to use it if you have other hardware on LPT1. I rate this product thumbs up all the way!
