| bmarko's Full Review: Compaq Presario 5600 |
This is my 3rd Compaq computer in 2 years. I always found it to perform very well, but don't even think about upgrading your computer. Compaq's don't seem to like change. I have tried adding memory upgrades, and found that they just don't do much. Compaq also has a thing about changing operating systems. There BIOS just does not care for it. I've had mostly good things to say about Compaq, but I find myself defending it to people that hate Compaq's. Well, I am officialy done defending them. I'm getting rid of it soon. There is one good thing to be said about the Company. There support is top notch. They always help me fix things when I tinker with it. (Which is often) Overall, I would say Compaq's are good for begginers that dont plan to make any major changes. But for advanced use, STAY AWAY!
