| brattee's Full Review: Alps MD-5000P Printer |
I LOVE my Alps MD-1000 printer. OK, so it's not the 5000 series, but, that was not an option to write about. I have four printers ... and this is the one I absolutely am in love with. I honestly can't say enough good things about it. The print quality is spectacular. It's not loud, and prints fairly fast, considering it makes multi-passes. I also like that it's dry printing, no need to wait for it to dry.
We bought this printer on the spur of the moment, and it was not very expensive. My husband was watching a demo that the salesman was doing, called me over, and we were both so impressed we had to have it. I do not feel that the print cartridges are very expensive either. Alps is very quick with delivery and fair on their prices.
We were giving a bid to a real estate company that needs our services, and I printed out pictures that we had taken of their properties to show them exactly what we would be doing, printed it out on the Alps ... the lady was so impressed, she showed everyone in the office and we received the job. Now I'll be doing some brochures on it to send out for advertising. For the small business, who wants to do their own mailing with extremely good print quality, this is the printer to have. You can do so many other things with this printer, including iron on transfers for T-shirts.
If mine ever quits, you can be sure that I'll purchase another one.
