Firetalk, Firetalk, Firetalk...where should I start to describe this wonderful yet flakey service. Well Let me start by telling you it is the best deal around for the money, because it is one of the few services of it's kind that is completely and uncontionaly free! The current interface is a depressing blue color, and it seems to have some strange bugs like telling you your sound card dosn't work when you go into a forum or chat room it corrects itself. You can talk to anyone in the world on this service, and it is a lot of fun! I have been on it for 3 weeks now. I suggest that you buy a headset for 10-20 dollars U.S. this seems to work best. After a short download of the software the setup takes you through a process of adjusting you headset/speaker volume, measuring background noise, and setting your mic input level. These can be reset at anytime if you get a new mic/headset or you just want to mess with it. The support is wonderful! I love this service, because like chat rooms you can type and talk at the same time.
I highly recommend this service to anyone who like to talk.
