Overall I am satisfied with my Rage Fury. I got it because I needed a card that would do full DVD decoding as well as 3d acceleration. I replaced my Quantum 3D Obsidian and ATI 3d Xpression+ with it. As far as the DVD decoding goes, I can not say enough about how awesome it is to watch The Matrix at 1280 by 1024 (the max of my monitor) with an absolutely smooth frame rate. Many people these days do not need this feature as many DVD drives come with decoder cards. My DVD drive did not come with a decoder card, and I do not have a spare PCI slot to devote to one, so the Rage Fury was perfect in that respect.
The second aspect of why I need the card is 3d. Although my Obsidian did a good job with 3d and was supported by everything, I wanted a 32 bit card. The Rage Fury is giving me a playable frame rate in Quake 3 at higher resolutions, and about 60 fps when Q3's settings are set to "fastest".
Over all this card fits my needs pretty well, and I would recommend it to anyone who needed DVD decoding with a TV out as well as 3d acceleration on the same card.
