This is one great product for anyone who can use pictures/stills from movies or home videos. Like its name, Snappy is easy to use. It works off the parallel port of your PC, which has a minor pitfall in that my printer does, too. But it is simple to attach - on & off. It runs on a 9 volt battery, and I have found it eats up batteries quickly. But it is so easy to use - just connect it to the VCR, play a tape, and click your mouse. It immediately captures an image, which can then be edited for contrast, hue, and even size. I have used the images for cards and posters. A great way to capture a shot of Bette Davis in, "All About Eve," or the Lion from, "The Wizard of Oz." Hence, superb camp potential!!! It snaps from a tv program, too. I snapped gymnastics, football, and boxing and the images are great; where else can I get them? Haven't used it from a digital camera, but I am sure it works just as well. I love it!
