Pros: Easy to setup and use, good price.

Cons: Slower than some of the newer drives, but for the price...

I just got my new Philips CD-RW and I can hardly believe how easy it was to set up. Just plug in the USB and load the disk with required drivers. That's it! Compared to my old burner, this was a real cinch.

This CD-RW writes and rewrites at 4X and reads at 32X which means that I was able to burn a 650 MB CD in less than 15 minutes. Not as fast as some of the newer burners out there, but for the price, it's great.

It does come with some software for copying audio tracks, but I prefer using Adaptec's Easy CD Creator. It's just a preference and it seems to burn faster than using the bundled software.

If you're in the market for a reasonably priced and reliable CD-RW, I recommend this one.
