Good workhorse laptop

I purchased my 7500 in January and overall have had a pretty good experience. I must admit that I had some initial problems with the unit locking up unexpectedly, Dell was helpful but it too a few weeks to clear it up and after installing a new video driver I had no more problems. I probably pad the higher end in price but I think it was worth it for the Dell brand and piece of mind. I have purchased off brands and been burnt by product quality and service, not the case with Dell.

My laptop is my lifeline and I rely on it for all my work. The Inspiron has performed very wall so far and has bee very durable.

A couple suggestions:

Get at least 128 MB of RAM, especially if this is going to be you sole computer.
Buy all the RAM you can afford up front as upgrades are more expensive
Don’t buy the bundled software, you can get it cheaper separately
