Of course, this video card has been all the rave on the market for quite some time now, as it should be. The Diamond Viper V770 with the TNT2 Ultra chipset has been the fastest video card around, available at most retailers for around $200, although that price will soon be falling as cards utilizing the new Geforce chipset have already hit the shelves. The V770 was my first video card, and I'm proud to say so, as it's 32-bit colors are brilliant and power is astounding. With 32 MB SDRAM video memory, 2X/4X AGP bus, overclockability, and a cooling fan already on the card, this has been the best card to get for a while. The only big thing it lacks is DVD hardware decoding. This would have made a great video card absolutely fantastic. DVD player software in included in the software bundle, but I'd rather watch an old fashioned VHS than watch DVD through this card.
