Gateway, People Rule. NOT!

I own a Gateway 433c PC. If I had the opportunity to purchase another Gateway computer, I WOULD NOT DO IT!
My computer hasn't worked properly since the day I bought it. I ordered it over the internet with a loan. It didn't take long to get my Gateway computer, but once I received it, I have had nothing but trouble with it.
My main problem was that it would shut itself down. I would be surfing the internet and it would shut down, just like I had shut it down. So, I decided to call there 24 hour tech support. Tech Support was no help at all, they basically told me that there was nothing wrong with my computer. They said that any problems that I was having with my Gateway computer was my internet provider's fault. Yeah, right!
My boyfriend and I kept calling and calling trying to get them to help. We would be on hold for hours at a time and then when we would finally get to talk to a REAL person, they would say that there was nothing wrong with the computer.
Finally, we got fed up with there service and just asked to have our money back. That was apparently a joke to them. No money back guarantees. Even though my Gateway was not working properly and I wanted my money back, they said, "No".
They finally said that I could send my Gateway back for their technicians to look at, but I would have to pay to send it in. I had already paid to have a broken computer mailed to me, now I had to pay to send it back. I don't think so. We argued with them until they finally said they would pay to have it sent back. So, we were now paying for a computer that we didn't have.
When we finally received our computer back, they said that they tested it and found nothing wrong. It still kept doing the same thing over and over again. We were so frustrated. We called tech support yet again. We demanded to have a new computer sent to us. There was no way we were going to pay for a computer that didn't work. Finally, after arguing with them, they agreed to send us a new computer.
The new computer was not any better. We argued and argued with them for months to no avail. Now, after a year and a half, we are still stuck with this Gateway computer that still doesn't work properly, still can't get any help with, and still isn't paid for. Gateway, Where People Rule. NOT!
