Pros: free(for now), mostly stable, fast connection, good connect speeds Cons: pop up boxes, annoying disconnect warning
In the search for a decent free ISP since the demise of my old favorite, Worldshare, I ended up trying NetZero. Yes, the notice about clicking on the bar was somewhat annoying, and you just never knew when the disconnect box would show up, could be...

Pros: pretty fast, free POP mail Cons: huge annoying ad, can't play most games with it, must pay 10$ after 40 hours
Netzero used to be the best Free ISP. Unfortunately, they are becoming worse and worse. The ad is very annoying and big. It usually shows ads of themselves, which I find very ridiculous. You are garantteed to connect at a pretty good speed. However, what...

Pros: Was free Cons: A hoax-not free
I want to let everyone know about NetZero. This is supposed to be a FREE service, however, now that the first of the year has arrived, we are looking at charges. At least those of us who are online more than 40 hours per month.
Now I know its...

Pros: Routing is sane, ping times are good when it works Cons: It's down a LOT, at least here in Seattle.
The day FreeWWWeb died will live in infamy, even more so than the day scientists discovered how to grow caffiene-free coffee beans. I often got 80ms on the 6th hop here in Seattle! Gamer's paradise. But, it didn't last long. One of my friends recommended...

Pros: It's free Cons: busy sometimes, banner
The great thing about this service is that it is free. There is really no need to pay for a dial-up connection like AOL.
Highlights: It's free, and you can check your email pretty quick. I personally like picking my own email program. You...

Pros: Free, Lots of Local #'s, Fairly small ad-bar Cons: Constantly dropping connection, occasional logon problems
I have used NetZero for some time now and in my opinion I would say it's not that bad. It does have definite pros and cons though. It is probably the most well known and mature free internet service provider out there right now. If free is what you...

Pros: email( POP server), banner docks manually, Cons: annoying popups, connection bugs
I downloaded NetZero's software recently as an alternative to Altavista. I had to fill out a survey, and download a large file, but did get email to my Outlook Express box as a bonus. Great, I said. But soon I noticed some really pesky bugs in the...

Pros: Lots of cracks available to crash annoying banner Cons: Poor connections, lots of busy signals.
Free internet access! What a concept: Unlimited access free as long as you can deal with a stupid floating banner ad. NetZero was the first company I heard about to offer such a deal. And what a deal it is... in theory.
The biggest joke would...

Pros: cool look and long connection time ( depends on access number ) Cons: sometimes it is very hard to connect.
I recently just joined this free ISP and it looks pretty decent. I think the software actually has a good look to it. I also have remained connected for long periods when signing on before the software freezes.
I would think its do to the...

Pros: None Cons: Terrible Service
All right, let's face it, you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to free internat service. I'll try to keep this review brief, that way I don't get disconnected like I just did 5 minutes ago and lost the best review I have written so far. But...

Pros: No charge, No problems connecting Cons: Not as fast as Cable Company ISP
I have used Netzero for the last (2) years. Actually, I have never used any other ISP. I did insert a disk for "100 free hours of AOL" once but I didn't like the fact that it took me almost 20 minutes to get on the net (busy signals), and I had to...

Pros: Free Access Cons: software problems
Well, it appears as if my first free internet service provider,Netzero, is yet again gobbling up some of the free internet competition. The latest victim, Freei, or freeinternet.com has begun redirecting users to sign up with Netzero as of October...

Pros: FREE access to the internet Cons: the ad bar, poor customer service, lingering problems once you move on
After purchasing our new home my husband and I were looking to cut expenses. Since we both have internet access at work and anticipated little need for it at home we decided to drop our previous ISP and go with NetZero.
We had evaluated the...

Pros: Connection Speeds Cons: Busy signals, banner ad, errors, and annoying
So, you think NetZero is the best free ISP on the internet, eh?
I currently have two computers, one internet access that I pay for and two phone lines. My other computer uses Netzero and FreeI.com and my computer that I currently use is...
