Pros: Listen to music for free, make your own favorite hits cd's, discover new bands
Cons: download speeds tiresome with some modems, glitchy songs, too filtered, no error recovery

Pros: Napster, whether paid for, shut down, whatever, IS the future of music.
Cons: It may be ruled against.

Pros: The cancel feature, on the older version you had to wait until search stopped
Cons: takes a while for the commands to start(pressing start,stop)
Don't get me wrong, I love Napster and it sure has helped me save lots of money. For example, I can download a variety of Beatles songs and put them on the same CD as George Carlin and others that have nothing in common:)
