Pros: Far cheaper than cable.
Cons: I wish the performance was better in bad weather.
The Bottom Line: Small dish is easy to hide, cheaper than cable with a better selection. I would have no problem recommending this product.

I had cable for years and never gave much though to a satellite. I wish I would have sooner. The package I have compares to a Cox Cable digital package that they charge $60 some dollars for in Oklahoma City. The same selection and a little more will be about 1/2 the cost. The system is very easy to use. The remote is simple to program. Reception is affected by thunderstorms. Receivers are too expensive once the initial order is processed. Installation is done very professionally using existing cable television hook ups. The sound and picture is digital with gives a much crisper resolution. I chose DISH over Direct TV because DISH has more satellites in orbit. Sort of like being able to see long and short distances.
