Pros: When it works, it's convenient.

Cons: It blew up within six months of purchase.

The Bottom Line: Don't buy this product unless you like sending machines in for repairs.

I purchased the SAT-T60 unit in December of '02 and had it professionally installed. Five months later it began to constantly reboot -- even though we used it lightly, and only adults used it. Naturally the labor warranty was up -- apparently Sony thinks they've given you fair value if you've gotten 90 days out of their product. I had to pay $62 and package up the whole unit and send it to Pennsylvania, then wait several weeks to get it back. They no longer make a Tivo/satellite receiver, so it's pretty clear even they realized they didn't know how to make a keeper. The concept is great, extremely convenient and easy to use, but buy another brand.
