Pros: none. wait, they give you free phones that never work, oh wait, no...
Cons: EVERYTHING! Customer Service, Phones, Plans, Billing..ect.
The Bottom Line: Giving Us Cellular one star even seems like too much, but since there is no other choice, i suppose i have to. AVOID THEM

| auti73's Full Review: General Reviews of US Cellular Customer Service |
I have been a US Cellular Customer for about 2 years now. I haven't had any problem with them until they made me "upgrade" to a "newer technology" phone, ie, the nokia 3585i, as i added on a share line for my younger brother. Ever since i recieved that phone ihave had nothing but problems and headaches. First off, I had to send in my phone and that took about 5-6 weeks, so I was without any phone what so ever for that time period. I just use my cell as my regular phone. Then when they sent it back to me, they sent back the wrong model, the step down from the phone i had. The replacement phone was much worse than the original, as it will not let me send or recieve text messages, yet im still paying for them! I also do not recieve voice mail until a week or two later, if at all. Next off, people can never get through to me, the line always rings busy, or wont rng at all. And on my end of the line it just never rings. I thought that the least they could do was give me another replacement phone. but apparently I would have to send this one in again even though they sent me the wrong model, and in order to get a new phone you have to send it in three times...
So I called Customer service which is anything but award winning, the only award I would give them was having the guts to hang up on me three times while they put me back on hold, after making me wait an hour each time. When they tired to fix some of the problems, they couldnt do anything. With not having a normal phone line, I just cannot go without a phone. Then they told me that since i ordered these new phones over the internet, i have to have a loaner phone sent to me through the mail... The bottom line is, skip the hassle, don't go through US Cellular, they do anything except help a person. My roomates have all switched, or are inthe process of switching to Verizon Wireless, which I hear is just excellent.
