I'd review it. My father introduced me to the book as well, were we all brought up by baby boomer englishmen?
Anyway, he also claims that the same authors wrote a geography book. But I haven't yet found it.

Great review..and you're right, there's really no way to properly get across the type of humor without liberaly quoting from it.
