Pros: Works fine most of the time
Cons: Explodes with hot shards of broken glass
The Bottom Line: Don't buy. They shouldn't explode.
If you buy, label the buttons, lest operator press the wrong button and let top of projector fall. Ensure bulb isn't touching lens.

Before a presentation, I turned on the projector for a few minutes (to make sure the bulb was working). All was well. I turned it off and worked on other things for a minute. Suddenly, the projector's lens shattered, showering hot shards of broken glass in a five-foot area around the machine.
I wasn't touching the machine when the lens shattered. The machine was off, cooling down. The machine was still set up to project, not closed in its box.
The bulb was still in its socket, but it was tilted in its base. It might have been touching the glass of the lens. This particular bulb was noticably larger than the other bulbs, including the spare bulb in the exploding projector and the bulbs in another projector in the same room.
When we pressed the button for the latch to release the lens and light assembly extension, so we could stow the projector, the assembly fell forward with the focus lens ring almost hitting the table. The lens assembly stows with the assembly arm folding forward and the lens and light assembly folding backwards. With the lens assembly deployed, in the use position, the focus lens will free fall forward and hit the table. It is top heavy and the release latch releases instantaneously with no resistance to slow the fall of the assembly. The operator must have his hand on the assembly when they release the assembly for stowing. The entire projection assembly is in this unit on top; focus lens, magnifying lens, mirror, cooling fan and motor, and the high intensity light bulb.
The "twelve o'clock" position on the focus lens on both projectors had witness marks where they had fallen and hit the table tops other times.
