Pros: Well digitized designs in a variety of sizes.
Cons: The card is limited to Brother Disney machines, and there's too little Eeyore and Tigger.
The Bottom Line: If you've got a machine that will use this card, and you fancy the designs, go for it.

| adonna's Full Review: Brother Disney Embroidery Cards Winnie the Pooh Se... |
Sometimes I feel so good, I say I'm in a Tigger mood. It's funny how these characters become icons, representing attributes of ourselves. That is how you know something is truly classic.
While the Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters represent my childhood, those of Disney's Winnie the Pooh series are more reminiscent of my daughter's generation, and appeal greatly to people in their mid-twenties (and their moms). The desire to have these characters represented on one's clothing and items is strong, and embroidery is the perfect way.
With the Brother Disney Embroidery Card covering Winnie the Pooh and the others from the Hundred Acre Woods, you have the opportunity to stitch these characters out, to charm yourself, or anyone else. The only limitation, I'm sorry to say, is that these cards will only work with embroidery machines in Brother's Disney series, such as my Brother PE180D. I wish that people using other embroidery formats could enjoy them, but that's the quirk of licensing.
That limitation aside, the designs on this card are well rendered representations of the characters from Disney's popular Winnie the Pooh cartoons. The designs themselves have fairly good digitizing values, those are the values you'll note when you stitch out the designs. For instance, they do not lack underlay, and they are well balanced and have a good density for stitching on medium weight fabrics. If you're using denser fabrics, or lighter ones, special stabilizers should be used, but still, the designs on the cards do appear to be put together well.
What I like best about this card is that the designs come in a variety of sizes, with my favorite characters well represented. So if I want to stitch out a small figure for someone, taking only a little of my time, I can choose one of the mini designs. If I want to get elaborate, I can choose one of the larger designs.
What I like least is that my two favorites, Eeyore and Tigger are not featured as much as, say Piglet, or Pooh. There are only a few designs to choose from that feature Tigger, even fewer for dear, sad Eeyore.
If Pooh and Piglet are your favorites (or Kanga, also well represented) you'll welcome the opportunity to add this card to your collection for use with your Brother Disney embroidery machine.
