I have often looked at the SureFit catalog and thought, Wow, I could change the whole look of my living room with just a few slipcovers! Finally I broke down and bought 2 covers, for my wing loveseat and wing sofa. They were on sale (thankfully), but I was slightly disgruntled by the $20 shipping/handling. However, the items did ship quickly (within 7 days, shorter time than stated on their website).
First of all, my husband and I could not figure out how to get the slipcovers on our sofas. The stickers that indicate Back, Arm, Front seemed to be misplaced. The fabric looks great in the catalog, but it's rough and kind of thin, so if the original color of your sofa is dark, it might show through. Also, the colors of the actual fabric are not as rich as pictured, and the details (like the corner seams) look cheap.
But we carried on. We started putting on the slipcover over one arm of the sofa and moved our way over, tucking (as instructed) and tucking, and tucking... finally, we stepped back and realized our sofa looked like it was covered by a huge polyester sheet.
The cover did NOT fit my sofa and was not even close to being as neat as pictured in the catalog. It looked like a big, wrinkled, sloppy mess. Even with a lot of tucking, the overall cheapness of the product was not up to my expectations. Don't waste your money.
And to add insult to injury, I'm now going to have to pay another $20 to ship this unsatisfactory product back to them to return it -- in all, I'm out $40. But I've learned a very expensive lesson -- don't buy from SureFit.
