One Tip for X1 Owners prospective buyer

Pros: Excellent Image Quality, Unbeatable Price.. Perfect for viewing DVD, DivX, PS2 .. etc ! :)
Cons: Viewing 1024 resolution PC screen is fuzzy.. but do is it really necessary ?
The Bottom Line: Why pay $2000 more for PDP/DLP TV/LCD TV for smaller screen? X1 is unbeatable in price image size !!
Plus it lasts 4000 hours !!!

First of all, X1 is a GREAT BARGAIN for what it does !! The pictures are great, and rainbow effect .. well, I was bothered by it from the day 2 till about a month, and nowadays, I do NOT notice it (going 2nd Month). I think it takes effort to notice it, and after a month, your eyes don't seem to care about it..
Anyways, one important advice for all X1 users.
*** DO NOT PUT ANY DEVICE NEAR THE X1 THAT CREATES STRONG MAGNETIC FIELDS !!! ***
I recently had a home theater unit, and since I had nowhere to put it, I placed it under X1. In about 3 days, I started to notice color distortion along the bottom of the screen, and getting worse day by day. (Very large localized color distortion / streaks ) I did not know that DVD-player-home-theater creates that much magnetic fields, but when I tested with my map compass.. sure it moves like crazy :( I guess it's that amplifier in the unit that's causing it..
So I placed it away from X1. It's been 4 days and now the screen is turned back to *almost* normal.. I still see a little fuzziness on the bottom (about 1% of screen) but I am willing to wait to see if it improves it further, seeing that I still have a year and 10 month left on my warranty !!
So take my advice. Keep X1 away from any potentially destructive device. DLP uses magnetics to control mirrors and you don't want to interfere with that !
