3 proposals, 1 husband!

Apr 09 '01

The Bottom Line Show how much you care! Oh, don't forget the ring!

I have been proposed to 3 times in my life and, of course, I only said "yes" once. It was to Number 3, and here is one of the reasons...

The first guy: "So, you might be pregnant? I guess we should get married."

The second guy: There is a party thrown at our house without my knowledge and I come home to beer bottles, rented porn, and puking people. He drags me into the bedroom and says, "I really (hic) love you (hic.)You are one sexy little b*tch. Will you (hic) marry me?"

The third guy: We went on a trip to the beach to celebrate our one year together. While getting ready to take a swim, he seized a moment, dropped to one knee, and pulled a ring from his swim trunk pocket.

Now I did not just marry number three because he proposed the best. (Of course he didn't have much competition.) There were many other reasons. However, a great proposal never hurts. I say this because it says a lot about a man if he realizes the importance of that moment in the life of a woman. Good luck! Have a long, happy life with the one you love.
