WOW! 2 reviews in one day.
This category is something I know about...so I have more to share with you!
Because of my business "PeacocKreations" I make and give many different baskets as gifts. The "Hugs & Kisses Valentine's Basket" is always one of my favorites! To give...and to receive!!
I have a very dear friend who was married on Valentines day a few years back. In her first Valentine's/Wedding basket I gathered all sorts of wonderful items.
This was given to her at a shower. It was the last gift opened...and the only one appreciated so much, by so many!
The basket was done in red, white, and silver. It contained a few common Valentine gifts...such as; chocolate heart candies, a heart shaped picture frame, and a heart shaped, rose scented candle. Then came the fun goodies!
Because everyone at the shower was female....I knew I could get pretty risque with the contents without anyone getting really embarrassed. If it had been a mixed crowd, I probably would have lightened up a little.
These were the embarrassing contents;
1 pair of red, eatable, very skimpy panties.
1 bottle of eatable "Love Juice" massage oil.
1 can of eatable body art paint.
1 can eatable silly string.
2 heart shaped soaps
The true GIFT Contents;
1 charm bracelet with dangling silver hearts
1 beautiful white negligee
1 bottle of her favorite Eaux de Cologne
And this is what made the basket so enjoyable for everyone at the shower.
Gifts for the guests;
I placed 3 wrapped boxes with the word "guest" inside the basket. These were not for the bride but a small Valentine Gift for 3 lucky guests at the shower.
Taped to one gift was a baggie of small silver wedding bells....one had a red X marked inside it!
Taped to he the second was a baggie of candy hearts....only one heart said "I love you"!
On the third box was taped a baggie if glitter...all red hearts and one red star!
The bride had to walk around with each baggie until the winning item (bell, candy heart, glitter heart) was drawn and then give the gift to that guest! This was a simple, inexpensive, fun thing...that got everyone into the excitement.
Every year I still do up a Valentine/Anniversary basket for my friend....and every year she tells me that none are as good as the first!! Guess I will just have to try harder next year!
Baskets for any occasion can be such fun to "Kreate". Valentine's Hugs & Kisses Baskets are truly my favorites because you can go so many different ways with the enclosed items!
