When we were looking for a new car, we were looking for a reliable, inexspensive suv. We wanted out of the minivan stage and the honda had a good name. We looked around at subabura and this fit are needs better than anything else. It had a 4 cylinder which was a little bit of a turn off coming off from a v6. But this 4 cylinder has some get up and go in the higher rpms. But still manages great gas milage... around 25 or 26 in the winter. As for the winter conditions we live in vermont and snow is always. 20" storms at times and with its awd system that comes on when one wheel slips, we were able to go through the whole season without snow tires. No problems at all mechanicly wise. As for the headlights, this is what really amazed me. People are constantly flashing me cause they think i have my high beams on. The low beams on this are amazing along with the high beams. Comes with a moon roof and a 6 disc cd player which is very nice. Great price for what you get too. 24 grand for a very reliable, awd, great on gas, suv. However remember what you are buying. This is a small suv! But probibly the best one out there.
Now for the very short list of bad things... that would be my friend who is about 6'2 sat in the back seat and his head was hitting the roof because the seats in the back are higher than the ones in the front. Also day time running lights would be nice like the subaru has. Also this thing is kinda loud if you sit in the back seat. Very hard to hear anybody talking in the front... but all in all this are little things. Nothing that can take away what a nice suv this is.
