All my fellow “Ham Radio” operators lend me your ears. If you been in Radio Shack and could not find the device you were looking for, this is why. Your local Radio Shack store has gone on-line for all your big or small radio projects. It has been so simple to get your Operational Amps, NE555 Timers, Logic Devices, in the mail right to your home.
Radio Shack, Tandy Company, producers of electronic equipment and semi-conductors have found it easier and more convenient to have catalog order those items to you by mail. To stop harassing a salesman for something he does not have any idea what it is.
Who remembers when they visited a local Radio Shack to get an array of resistors? And the clerk did not know what you were talking about? Well, I believe this is the solution to our problems. You get 24 hours ordering, on-line help, and right to your door delivery. Now that is the picture.
So, when you need that device for your ham radio set your local Radio Shack has not let you down they just went on-line.
