I have had problems with ear infections longer than I care to contemplate. I often was so paranoid about getting them time after time that I finally can across earplugs that truly work to keep out the water. With the impending summer season not too far off in the near future I want to tell you a little bit about the Mack’s Ear Plugs.
The Product
Mack’s is a wonderful earplug set that comes with several pairs in a box. You can find them two pair all the way up to about 9 pairs in a box. They are made out of a Silicone material. The beautiful part about this is, the material is soft and pliable and can be molded directly into the ear canal so that it fits perfectly right to the size of your ear canal. If you are fitting this to a child’s ear- be careful you do not press too hard. Tend to be a little aggressive in the molding part and it can make the ear sensitive. The plugs have always kept the water completely out of my ear canal and thus I have suffered less ear infections. They come in several pairs because after a few uses they do tend to get a bit dirty looking and will need to be replaced. The price is very reasonable. I have found them in my local drugstore for about three dollars for two pairs of them.
Other Uses
Believe it or not I am a pansy at the dentist. I hate going. I fear sitting and getting my teeth drilled. What has this to do with earplugs? I came to this weird hypothesis. I discovered I feel less pain if I don’t hear the drill. I bring these Mack earplugs to the dentist and put them in whenever I need the drill. It also may help for other noise block issues. Dancing at clubs so you don’t get the ear buzz after effects or even cutting out the snoring of your spouse of significant other.
My Final Analysis
Mack’s is the best earplugs around. For keeping water out of the ear canal or just cutting out the noise- you cannot beat this. They fit you in a custom manner- do the job and can be replaced economically and safely. They can be found at all drug counters. What more do you need in an earplug? O.K.- so Jude Law cannot be there to fit them inside your delicate ear canal? We can only wish for something’s-can’t we?
