Horrible experience with Blinds Galore - QVDS Inc.

If you have problems with blindsgalore.com, I would suggest that you file a complaint with the California Attorney General's office. Go to www.at.ca.gov and look for the complaint form. I am going to file a complaint with them and the BBB this weekend on blinds galore and their parent company QVDS. I ordered my blinds on 3/29/04, and my credit card was charged on 3/30/04. Their website tracking shows that it was shipped on 4/5th. However, I have not received the product. I spoke with someone last week who lied and said that my blinds will be delivered on 4/20/04. I still have not received anything. I know that they lied because I called the manufacturer who claimed that they have not processed the order because blinds galore has not given them approval to do so yet. The manufacturer is also trying to get a hold of them. I called the 800 number and the other number that blinds galore have on their web site numerous times and can not get through. I also emailed them and have not received a response. I have a feeling they went out of business because their phone message states that the phone system is being updated. I called the headquarters office of QVDS, who is the parent company but you need an extension number. I dialed various extensions and no one seems to answer their phone. I found a number for the CEO Maurice Nieman, but he is not picking up the phone as well. I feel like I was scammed. Beware of the other companies under QVDS Inc.
