I have not noticed any static problems with this product, and yes your clothing will still smell great if you don't use a dryer.

Does it also eliminate static cling really well?
I recently tried a cheaper brand of dryer sheets, and much to my amazement, everyone in the family started receiving little shocks whenever we got out of the car or otherwise touched metal. It took me a while to figure out the culprit. No more super-cheap dryer sheets; no more static electricity!
Do you use the liquid and then machine dry your stuff and it STILL comes out smelling sweet & soft? If so I might opt for the liquid; I just assumed I need the sheets if I'm using the dryer.

well, let me correct that - I cannot stand the smell :) I have to use unscented stuff in my laundry and the Snuggle and etc just upsets my family's noses, etc. Wonder if they make just a soft, non-scented one?

... a fellow Rarely-Follow-The-Directions/Over Use The Fabric Softener person!
My "perfume" of choice is Downey, but I think I'll pick up a bottle of this stuff. I'm anxious to dab some behind my ears (lol). It's funny, because I LOVE the smell of a freshly washed comforter, too. When the comforter is fresh, the whole room smell great!
