Booking my vacation with Travelocity was a nightmare!

I have never had such a horrible experience with a company as the experience I had with Travelocity. To make a very long and ongoing story short, the representative who booked my trip booked the wrong hotel- 30 miles away from where I requested- and the wrong departure flight- I requested a 9am flight and got a 4:30pm flight. I was on the phone with their customer service office for 5 hours before I reached a manager who told me "Our representatives would not make two mistakes..."
To correct the errors that THEY made, they expected me to pay an additional $400 to change to my original hotel request and an additional $1000 to change to my original flight request. Not once were any of their employees willing to take ownership for their mistake. The company then went ahead and debited the money, penalties included, from my checking account without my permission. Needless to say I canceled my trip and booked my trip on my own. I am still waiting for a response from their consumer relations department and will expect a credit for the total amount that they deducted.
Would NOT recommend choosing Travelocity to book your next trip.
