Extreme III is King (Reply to this comment)

Discovering the Schick Extreme III disposable razor a few years ago was one of my most profound surprises.
I say that because I had never liked Schick razors in 30 years of trying them off and on. I had always preferred Gillette.
But one day I received an Extreme III in the mail as a free sample. I tried it once. Then again. Then again. And couldn't believe what a miracle of a shave it was for me, for my particular skin and beard. It was literally perfect. Perfect.
I used that first one for a year, seriously--probably two to three times a week. It really never got dull. I finally just picked up and started using the next new one in the pack. And used it dozens of times--for months.
I got sidetracked by a fluke into using a new Gillette something or other for a few weeks, but quickly corrected the situation and returned to the Extreme III--from which I shall never stray again.
For me--I must stress that qualifier--it is The Perfect Razor.

with sticking with what works! I found Gillette's new VENUS razor for women, it's a GODSEND! :o)

I had a favorite disposable - then the company oh-so-helpfully put aloe-soaked pads on them. I'm allergic to aloe. ARGH! Thanks for the recommendation - now I know what to try next.
