What a Nightmare! Prices change by the moment!

Order for 20 cellulars & 2 mini-blinds was placed 8/19 and they immediately charged our card - quite a chunk. On Monday, they informed us that a single feature/color combo was not available and that a second color choice had been discontinued - affecting 11 of 22 blinds. No problem, we changed the features/colors to what WAS available, and less expensive at that. That's when the nightmare began. The entire original order was canceled and re-input by their "customer service department". Apparently, customer service has a different set of prices than the web site. Completely different and completely HIGHER!! Fortunately, I had recalculated the order myself and recreated a new shopping cart. Their total - $145 refund, my total $575 refund!! It took 7 days to resolve these pricing differences with their prices changing daily. They promised one refund amount, then changed the amount with no notice and the order had STILL not been sent to the manufacturer a week later!! Good thing for credit card service - their charges were been placed on customer dispute hold until we resolved the refund and pricing issues. You don't even want to know the HOURS I had spent on hold trying to resolve these problems with the clerks! Try asking to speak to a supervisor and you get nowhere! That was, until I told them their charges were under dispute! That got some results! A supervisor became immediately available and we resolved the problems, to my satisfaction, within about 10 minutes
Bottom line - don't blink! Monitor this service and do your own calculations. If you have ANY problems, call your card company immediately and dispute the charges! What you see is NOT necessarily what you will get. Now to see what actually arrives in the boxes - a little nervous now that I've read other reviews. To be continued.....
Update 9/05-Finally rec'd all my blinds as ordered and they look great. Was shorted a bracket but rec'd it no problem within a few days - great service from factory (Springs Industries). ABWM DID finally issue my expected refund but I would still be HIGHLY cautious of doing business with them. Use your credit card - one that offers buyer protection, check the charges carefully & fight for what is right.
