ABC Distributing -don't waste your time (Reply to this comment)

I ordered about 30 things from ABC covering everyone on my Christmas list. I did all this back in October. After not receiving anything a month later, I called to find out that my account had been closed because my husband had already created an account and you can't have 2 open,even though there is nothing ordered on the other one...........and God forbid the move your order to the original account! Any way, you think that they would be able to call you or email you or even send you a letter (since they have all that information), but no, not ABC! So I talked to the lady who puts my order in on the correct account and the comes back and says that 13 of my items are no longer available! Okay I am a little mad,but I deal with it and go ahead and order the other 17 items. Remind you this is now november. Another month goes by and still nothing, so I call back and let me remind you, this is not a toll free call and they close with normal business hours so no night minute discounts from the phone company,any way after spending an hour on the phone last time,I made myself comfy and called to find out that yet again my account was closed. When I asked why, they said because I had had 2 accounts open and then closed one and didn't write in to verify my address.Verify my address? Verify my address...............is that not the stupidest thing you ever heard. Why would I order things so that they would be shipped to the wrong address? After throwing a fit on the phone,they let me skip that part and reopened my account. So the woman types in the 17 items and guess what............only 3, three, 3 of my items were available. Can you say PO'd. I was seeing red...........hi people I ordered most of my girls christmas presents through them and now in December they are telling me they are not available. I told her that I wanted to speak with her supervisor who in turn told her she would call me back and about 6 hours later I received a call from the supervisor who tried to lie her way through everything and was so rude. I wanted them to find everything I ordered in the warehouse and send it to me and so she said she would send them an email and call me back to tell me if they found anything..........did she call me back..........NO! People don't waste your time..........they charge to much shipping, don't contact you when things are not available or something is wrong with the account, they are rude, and they will lie to you. Not to mention it takes forever to get the stuff if you even get the correct stuff! Go some where else. I promise it is for the best

Thank you for a quite humerous review of ABC Distributing. I agree with everything you wrote. "ABC" does have the worst service I have ever seen. I placed my first order about a month ago and have yet to recieve it. Like you I have not had any luck getting ahold of them. I was thinking, maybe they want it that way. It seems like it would be easier to run a scam if noone could contact them.

When I ordered several products, I realize that some things might be back ordered. I did not think they would send 2-3 things at a time with the SHPIIING added to each purchase. In what I thought was a good price for their good they have far made it up with shipping and handling.
There is no place on their site to complain or ask question on your own. If your need is not listed tough luck!

I almost lost a very good customer because of the shoddy business practices of ABC distributing. I ordered some products back in May and although their website shows a tracking number, I never received the merchandise. I write to them to see what has happened and they tell me that I have to wait 21 days; still no response. I call them on my own nickle, wait on hold for 20 minutes only to be hung up on.
I have reported this company to better business bureau

Abc combined 2 seperate accounts.... (Reply to this comment)

My mother is associated with a non profit org., needing to buy toys for less fortunate children, so she opened an account with ABC. I wanted to try them out for my small home gift shop business, so I opened an account. The next thing you know, both accounts have been combined and I find myself owing for her order and her shipments are on hold. I have tried for 2 weeks to contact customer service, to no avail, to straighten this out. They do not have an email contact either. So here I am left paying for not only my products but also the one and only shipment she DID receive, as both accounts were combined. We are also NEW account holders. In my opinion, I would think twice about ordering from this company.

I have bought products from ABC distributing for years and have only had to call customer service once. I had to return something and I was given the information on how to return. I actually love when they send me things I didnt order! I have no complaints about that, just as long as I get what I originally ordered. And yes, there are times when there are products back-ordered, SO WHAT, you can't expect everything to be available when you want! There is no tax so we pay on shipping, who cares, their prices are the most reasonable around!! Do not be scared off by other peoples opinions, ABC is a great company to get products from, their site is even very easy to look through.

due to low prices, but agree that I was always worried whether it was good quality stuff that would arrive or just cheap crap - I don't buy anything I cannot touch these days :o)
