Where to start...ok. Ordered a USB flash drive several months ago & signed up for their "eblast" emails. That product was ok, no complaints about tat. So today I get an "eblast" that lists a "SanDisk 512MB MP3 Player W/FM Tuner - Blue QuickFind: 155159" for $60.75. Looks like a good Christmas gift for my wife so I click the link to check it out. First, the price listed on Ebuyer's website is $63.88, so either the website or their email is wrong. So I try to contact them. First of all, their customer service number is NOT toll-free, so Im stuck with email. EXCEPT their "preferred" method is their funky "eNotes" system, which apparently doesn't work with Netscape - clicking the link just brings up a blank page. So I use Internet Explorer to try sending them an eNote. It needs my account name and password. I've forgotten my password by now, and need it emailed to me. It asks for my username and the email address I used to create the account, which I supplied from the original "welcome to ebuyer" email I received. Well it says that the email address isn't in their database. I typed it in again. No dice. I copied it and pasted it from the email they sent. Still no go. So then I try to contact the webmaster using the link at the bottom of the page. It brings up my email client, but the "to" email address is blank. I got to another random page on their site and click the link to email the webmaster, same deal. So to me, this is the proverbial three strikes situation. 1) their emailed sale price flyers have the wrong prices, 2) their customer service phone# is NOT toll-free, and 3) their customer service is difficult if not impossible to contact via email. And to top it off, you can't even contact their webmaster? Ive been using the internet since 1996 and ebuyers website ranks among the worst Ive seen in terms of functionality. Their prices might be ok, but good luck with service after the sale! I won't waste another second or my hard-earned cash on 'em.
