Theres no doubt in my mind that when Annabelle gets married, her intended will have fallen in love with her wit, charm and baby blue eyes ... she isnt the most subtle of children and when she sees something that she really wants, she lets you know. She wont settle for an alternative or second best. She isnt spoiled and she doesnt get every little thing she wants but she can make life very interesting when she sets her sights on getting something. This was the case of what I call The Princess Bed Saga. She saw one in a store in San Diego and fell in love with it. Knowing that wed be moving it wasnt the best time to be buying furniture let alone a bed that probably wouldnt ship well once it was assembled. As soon as we arrived at the money pit and she was set up in her very own room, I asked the question Id been dreading, What kind of bed do you want?. I knew it would be this very specific princess bed but I kind of hoped that maybe she would have had a change of heart.
Out came the leaflet she got at the store. She was more than prepared, looked me dead in the eye and said, Dis is da one I want. Yeah, I know, its a toddler bed and she is far from a toddler but it is pretty big and shed be able to use it for a few more years providing she didnt hit some weird growth spurt. When I started looking for it online there were a ton of places that listed it but no one seemed to have it in stock. Even local places we sold out of it. When I knew that it was going to be a big ordeal to get the bed I settled for one of the first places that had it in stock. What I didnt know was that it would be one of the best prices around [$129.99]and a very reasonable shipping fee of $12.95. After calling to make sure that they actually had it in stock I went to the website, ordered it and waited for the confirmation email. As luck would have it, bad luck that is, the email went to my bulk folder and the bed ended up arriving a day before it was supposed to. I got this all cleared up when I called customer service to ask about a tracking number or when it would be arriving and they resent the email again.
Selection
Ive only made one purchase from the site so far but I have the feeling that it wont be my last. They have everything from newborn needs like cribs and rockers to bedding and supplies for older kids. They have an awesome looking wooden toddler bed with drawers under it for about $170.00 that Id love to get for my sister but the shipping on it would be about three times the cost of the piece of furniture. They also carry breast pumps, dressing tables, linens, cradles and bassinets, monitors, car seats, toys, diaper bags, toy chests and organizers, bat tubs and more. The site is easy to navigate from the front page and everything is listed with a color photo and text description. Since they have a restocking fee for some items you will want to know exactly what you are purchasing before you place the order. If you have any concerns, call or email them for more information.

Shipping Information
They use UPS, FedEx Ground and freight carriers [for larger pieces of furniture] to ship things out. If you have a specific carrier you can ask them to ship via that method but you will be responsible for any extra charges. Since all I have ordered so far from the site is the bed I cant comment on what some of the other shipping fees are but paying $12.95 for the bed was more than reasonable. They shipped my order out on a Monday and I received it early Thursday, not bad considering it was shipped via ground delivery. The box wasnt all that heavy but it was a little larger than I expected. Paying thirteen dollars for a delivery of this size, on top of the actual price of the bed, really impressed me with the site.
Return Policy
The sites return policy is pretty standard; you have thirty days to return items for an exchange or refund and in some cases you will be charged a restocking fee on larger items. You will need to obtain an RMA [return merchandise authorization] number before you can make a return and you can get one via email or by calling their customer service department. They will not accept returns for any reason on any breast pump or breast milk related product. If you receive something that is defective in the area of a breast pump, contact the manufacturer since it is under warranty. They have a slightly different policy for damaged furniture; you need to report this within seven days of receiving your order to get a refund, credit or exchange.
The Bottom Line
The site is easy to get around, they have a lot of items in stock and the prices are more than fair. Id really love to get some of the furniture for my sisters but it would be almost impossible to ship it to them. Even so, some of the smaller items like bed linens, toys and crib accessories will definitely be added to my shopping list at the site. Customer service is quick to answer emails but if you call at the beginning of the week, it may take you a while to get a human being on the phone. If they handle future orders as quickly as they did this one then Ill be spreading the word to everyone on the east coast that this place is the place to shop for items that you cant find anywhere else or things that are sold out at other online sites. So far I am really impressed with the site and how they handled my initial order, I hope that when I place my next order they give me the same speedy service!
As always, thanks for the read!
