Well, I still think you and I should do a mix trade one day. Somewhere between the tape I'm about to make for Jennjoy, the tape I need to finish for my bud's birthday, and the 10 tapes or so I've promised to my legion of screaming online internet girls (Don't ask), I'll make room for yours.

You know, I've often wanted to write this very same editorial, but for some reason never had the proper inspiration.
Now I don't have to. This is good shit, personal and informative. Any poor mix-tape neophyte would be a sap not to heed your advice.

indeed I can...down to ever last sentence, even the thing about not being all that sad about it all. This is Spring '99 of my life, right there.
As for the music- I'm impressed. You lost me momentairly when you opted for Coldplay, but you included Beck and Semisonic, so it's all good.
And my mix tapes are done like my reviews- in one sitting. I can't just take a break...I'd never find my rest before I'd finish it.
But enough about me.

Is there any use in trying to explain that I'm really not too saddened by all this? No... I don't suppose there is.
But seriously, the stuff with this girl is really not that bad. I'm just confused about whether I want to pursue her or not. Feh... I'll call her soon and sort everything out then.

Hmm... Things seem their worst when you're mixing a tape, but anything counts when you're building a house, as clearly stated by Cindy Brady. ... I went through a very similar experience recently and I was really upset by it. It's all sorted out for now though, and at the moment I don't think it'll be a problem again, but I guess you can get through it. I wouldn't believe me though - certainly not three weeks ago. Girls are funny old things...

Hmm... I think it would be more apt to say you lanced a boil... You know, with one prick you let all those pent up emotions come rushing out and even though it hurts to do it, now it can heal, etc... Anyway, I'm rambling because I haven't had enough coffee and that's kind of an unpleasant picture to contemplate this early in the morning. Very interesting mix, New York City is an awesome song, too.
