Pros: Cleans and prevents the build-up of soap scum, and mold and mildew stains~~fresh scent
Cons: Wish the bottles held more cleaner.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend this product...it does what it says it will. Fresh scent, timed-release sprayer, cleans a large area, refills are reasonably priced and readily available.

After watching numerous TV commercials over the past few months for the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, I decided that we just had to have one. Being the conservative, coupon shopping person that I am, I began to watch for sales in our local stores. Our CVS Pharmacy had them on sale for $19.99. To add to that, I had a manufacturer's $5.00 off coupon, as well as a $7.50 CVS "Extra Bucks" Reward certificate. So, for $7.49 (before tax), what did I have to lose if we didn't like the product? Nary a thing!
We have two bathrooms in our house, and I decided to put this shower cleaner in the front bathroom where we have a large fiberglass shower with two sliding glass doors. I prefer to take baths in the back bathroom, while my husband is the main user of the front bathroom shower. I had been buying the daily shower cleaners that one sprays after showering, but I didn't feel like they (or maybe it was my husband?) were getting the job done. Enter the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner...
This nifty little gadget cleans the soap scum, mold, and mildew stains in your shower at the touch of a button. There is a "time delay" start button...all you have to do is to press it and walk away! The 360 degree rotating power sprayer (each activation sprays continually for 12 seconds) covers all 4 walls and the tub (our shower unit does not have a tub).
Included in the start-up kit:
*One 360 degree rotating power sprayer, reaching over 8 feet for full coverage
*Two 34 oz. bottles of cleaner (each bottle lasts up to 3 weeks, and refills are readily found at most stores)
*Four Energizer AA alkaline batteries (lasts for more than 180 cleanings)
*Hanger
*Very simple, diagrammed directions...installation is quick and easy
How do you use this cleaner?
1. It is best, but not necessary, to start off with a fresh, clean shower. If your shower is dirty, then results are guaranteed after 14-21 daily uses.
2. Use immediately after the last shower of the day while the shower is still wet.
3. Press activation button. Power sprayer will beep for 15 seconds before starting. If needed, you can stop spray cycle by pressing button again (you will hear 2 beeps).
4. Close shower curtain or door in the 15 seconds before power sprayer starts. Power sprayer rotates for 12 seconds.
5. Power sprayer automatically shuts off and returns to stand-by mode when spray mode is complete.
This cleaner is safe to use on most shower/tub surfaces, including fiberglass, plastic, and acrylic. Do not use on brass, natural marble, or finished wood surfaces. It is also safe to use on plastic and synthetic shower curtains. It will not harm pets (our two cats know "no boundaries" and like to walk into the shower unit...we do keep the doors closed until the unit has dried). The spray is also safe if sprayed on your personal care products (shampoo, soap, bath sponges, etc.)...my husband closes the lids on these items before he activates the sprayer.

We really do like the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, and have been using it for about 2 weeks now. Even though we started out with a clean shower, we have definitely seen results. I have my husband spray the walls down with water before he activates the cleaner. He especially likes the fresh, clean scent...he says that you can tell that the shower has been cleaned, and the scent does linger for a bit. We highly recommend this bathroom maid...her work is excellent, and her scent is fresh!
