Pros: Accurate digital time, sensitive time update reception. Automatic DST/STD adjustments
Cons: Poor ergonomics in the button design. Poor band design. Poor parts support. Large & heavy.
The Bottom Line: The "atomic time" function is excellent. However the overall design is poor because of the watch band, button placement, and the analog time not updating automatically. OK with reservations.

| bflusche's Full Review: Casio WVA104HLA-8V Wave Ceptor Atomic Watch |
The Wave Ceptor has a lot of watch for the price, but there are some very poor features.
1. Excellent reception. I live in California and wear the watch to bed. There is no problem with it receiving the time signal from Colorado.
2. Mediocre analog time. The "atomic time" function only resets the digital time. It does not automatically adjust the analog hands. Every couple of months I have to manually adjust the analog hands by a minute or so to match the accurate digital time.
3. Poor watch band. I have the stainless steel band and it is held to the case by a cheap plastic insert. The insert has broken three times and I glued it together each time. I now have more glue than plastic. Given the huge size of the watch case, I can probably use Duct Tape to hold the band to the case. Fortunately Duct Tape comes in silver.
4. Poor support. I called for a replacement watch band part and was bounced all over the country. No one had it. One place told me it was a 4 week delivery from Casio, another place has them on back order with Casio for over 8 weeks.
5. Poor buttons. The buttons are very awkward to to use. The stop watch function is almost useless because it is so difficult to push the start/stop button without pressing another button.
