hey i was just looking on ebay for that pregnant barbie, as i had one as a child, im going back like 13 years or something now! But is that really true about the barbie dolls being taken off the shelves because of you? I'm shocked!

Wal-Mart also has been sued for what they do to formerly pregnant email shoppers. Lactating at Wal-Mart is a no no.

I read your review on pregnant Barbie but then went on vacation. It is amazing (well, I guess nothing should amaze me at this point) that you got hate mail over your opinion. I think people do forget that these reviews are supposed to be about our opinions and if someone doesn't agree, they need to write their own. Having said that..well maybe I'll just leave that alone - I'm tired of having to delete my comments for fear they'll show up elsewhere. I must admit I edit them for content. Don't think there is anything in this one that can be too offensive to anyone. jo

You can't go, at least not until you review Bag Lady Barbie. She come with her own shopping cart full of those ever so important essentials like whiskey bottles, ripped sweaters and a couple of bags of trash. Dear Nancy,
My mother taught me that it was polite to write thank you notes when someone has done something nice for me. I've had trouble picking up on this lesson because I never had a Thank You Barbie, complete with personalized stationery, to show me the way. [i]However[/i], now that you are responsible for having Barbies removed from Wal-mart's shelves, I may never have the opportunity to purchase a Thank You Barbie, and will have to learn on my own.

Thank you very much for posting your review of Pregant Midge. Thank you for stumbling into attention for the posting of same. I get very tired of reading Cookie Cutter reviews on Epinions.com that go into describing and detailing the most minute details that no one could possibly give a rat's tush about. I am now hopeful that your excellent review and acclaim for same will herald a new era where Barbie and the like can be trashed or complimented free form.

Seriously, really enjoyed your last review which I think is the first one I have read (sorry).
I wrote about a dodgy beer and wine warehouse in France, the CEO of which took the trouble to sign up to Epinions purely to comment on my review, but no, nothing as dramatic as your experience.
Sorry to hear that you have been hounded by e-mails as a result of your last review, and even more sorry to hear that yet another long established epinionator is considering winding down... although I'm sure from your later words you will still hang around.
Thanks for sharing, it's easy to forget the power of Epinions!!!

heck no - I have one of them on order and I just bought the Alan & Ryan set - I have plenty of Barbie dolls to keep me busy. Oops, not to mention the fruit Barbie dolls I just bought - I think they are brand new and very stupid - got them at Target, but I'm not sure there is a link to them anywhere.
